Honestly, Bonnie didn't stop... we had her front declawed :-( She's still a very aggressive cat but at least I could stop bleeding! I was so frustrated because when I tried to talk to the vet about Bonnie's aggression, all they could say was, "Awwww what a cute kitten!" and "she'll outgrow it." I recently read about redirection for cats in the book, "Think Like a Cat". I recommend redirection and vigorous play sessions (15 minutes once or twice a day) with a wand toy or tossed toys. Then he'll (probably) be tired and snuggly.

We also suggest distractin him wif a toy. "Redirect his behavior to a more appropriate outlet." Does he like mousies? Fev-ver toys? Crinkle balls? Balls of tin foil or paper? Strings? Wand toys? Find his favorites and, when he attacks you, shout "OW!!!" loud enough to scare him, and distract him with a toy. Mine beans made the mistake of lettin Bonnie use their hands and feet as toys - bad idea. Toys are for playin; hands are for pettin. Good luck!

Topic: Fun / How did you get your name?

Bonnie was named because she was pretty, our "Bonnie" lass. Then she turned out to be mean, like Bonnie from Bonnie & Clyde. So we joked about getting a sweet little boy kitty and calling him Clyde. When Victor adopted me, he told me he liked being Victor, not Clyde, even though it was his shelter name. So Bonnie and Victor they are, opposites and yet definitely cats.
