NH Kitties in BIG NEED!!!! Can anyone help out here???? Can anybody help these kitties????? Can anybody offer any suggestions?????? 150 cats need homes ASAP
Due to the owner’s unexpected/untimely death a cat shelter in Pepperell is being closed by the state and 150 cats will have to be put down. The daughter doesn’t have a license to run the shelter. So in the next week or 2 all these cats will be euthanized. If anyone you know can take one that would be great, but pass this along to anyone just to get the word out there. Maybe a friend of a friend of a friend would take one in.? It’s on Sheffield St in Pepperell, 30 min. from Acton . The # is 978-433-0404. If there is anyone that is interested in adopting / assisting with finding homes for these cats please contact the number ASAP or forward this email to a friend…please help!"

I think you could do away with the BFF feature because I think a lot of us don’t want to single out some of our friends from the others. They are ALL our BFF’s (like it says if you don’t choose). It was a nice thought, but I think if we had to choose it could potentially hurt someone’s feelings, and by taking away that feature there’s not a problem with that. Instead, maybe putting questionairres or quizzes we could take to earn additional bonus points or something like that, and or allowing more photos to be posted in that space.

Well, Robert, I see you did follow through on the suggestion on "buying" gifts, earning points, etc.!! COOOOL!! Like I said, way we could earn points would be for things we do (post blog, post in forum, comment on another's blog, send buddy request, accept buddy request, etc. On UnitedCats I think commenting is 1 point, posting in forum is 5 points, and I forget what the others are. It would be a way to get people (cats) more involved in the forums and visitng with each other!! Oh, setting up profile earns points, and for each cat you set up outside your own profile it's an additional few points. I think you also get points for adding pictures but I don't remember that for sure. BTW, hope you're doing well. Life has been crazy here! LOL!! Beau sends headbutts!!

I would like a search feature where we can find certain cats easier, I would like to have a way of being able to earn points for things we do (post, comment, obtain buddies, etc.) and then use the points to "buy" "gifts" for each other, and I would like to be able to find the new cats easier, not just when you first sign in. It would also be nice to have a way of getting more tags.

the first Christmas I was with mom and she put up a tree with lights and hanging things that make purring sounds. It was so peaceful and beautiful!!

I was so little when mom got me she couldn't tell I was a boy yet. She was going to name me Belle, from Beauty & the Beast, because she said I was a beautiful beast. When she found out I was a guy kitty, she changed it to the masculine form of Belle, which is Beau. Since we're in the South, she now also says it's short for Beauregard, a good name for a Southern Gentlemancat. (And yes, I know a Tallulah kitty.)
