We agree, the feather wand toy is tons of fun!

We also like to chase birds and squirrels (although the humans try to stop us).

And we chase each other around the yard!

And we like to catch bugs.

And we like to see our people - we roll on the ground we're so excited to greet them!

Fun is getting treats!

Fun is also playing with catnip (for some of us)..

Bottlecaps are fun to play with in the house.

And the lady's hair-ties are fun to bat around when she drops them on the floor.

We LOVE to play with those furry little mice -- but they're so fun, sometimes we get mad at them!  We want to eat those mice!

I'm on a mac OS X 10.4.11 using Safari.  Camino and Firefox both load everything (on any site) much slower than Safari.   It's possible the problems are worst in the late afternoon although I've had problems later at night as well.

I wish more people would speak up on this, if they're having problems as well.  It's clearly the site, and not the users.  Honestly, it seems to me that only "a handful of people" really regularly and often use this site.  And all of us are having trouble.  Others just log in once in a while and aren't as active, so you probably won't hear from them about it.  The site is messed up somehow and needs to be fixed.  I think it's the server.

I've noticed it day and night.  Often I get a "proxy error" page (502?, I believe).  If that helps.

And it's not our connection - no problems with any other sites.

It's wearing on my patience as well.  I haven't even been able to get into the forum to mention it, so thanks for bringing it up.  Not only is it slow, but it doesn't even work at all most of the time.  Very sad.  I hope someone fixes it soon.  I've noticed mydogspace has always been slow, but at least it eventually works.  I don't know of any other websites that run this slowly.

If you can rig up a safe place for her to have her kittens outside where the dogs can't get to them, that would be best.  She'll be able to figure out everything on her own.  I wouldn't worry about taking her to the vet until after she has the kittens and they're mostly weaned, then she will need to be spayed and have her shots.  Then the kitties will need to be fixed and have shots too.  And adopted out if you're not willing to take everybody on.  Maybe there is a rescue group or someone in your area that can help you with all that.  You might be able to call around to vets and ask if they know of anyone.  I'd be wary of getting the area Humane Society involved unless you're sure they have a no-kill policy.  There are some places that offer a waiver for shots and spaying, which cuts the cost drastically, but it would still cost something.   I wish I could help you more!

Is it when you vote for your own cat that the vote counts as 3?  That sounds weird but I was just noticing that my only 2 cats who have any votes at all have 3 and it was me who voted for them once.

We use organic crunchies for our cats, but they've never been picky eaters. They eat Katzenflocken Solid Gold . They used to eat Natural Balance (Dick Van Patten's brand), until it showed up on the watch list back during the whole pet food recall scare. Even though it was a different kind than the one they were eating at the time, since it was the same brand we didn't take any chances. Anyway, those are both good organic foods (catjungle approved!), and they come in the giant bags, for us big kitty clans.

One thing I think would be great would be to have more cat profiles allowed per user.  Cats aren't the same as dogs, some people have a lot!  I've noticed quite a few people who've maxed out at 6.  Or, some might like to include their deceased pets, but not have enough profiles available.
