Oreo was with me for the shortest amount of time...but he touched my heart like no other kitty.  I was a volunteer at Save the Animals Foundation in Cincinnati.  He was MY boy.  When I would come in for my shift, he would be waiting, crying at the door.  All the other volunteers would say "oh by quiet Oreo, you're momma's here, she'll let you run around the shelter!"  My regret is that I didn't adopt him sooner.  Already having 2 dogs and 4 cats I was hesitant...but love won over and as soon as I opened his carrier at my house he knew he was HOME!  Oreo started to become lethargic in February and was diagnosed with a type of Leukemia, not FeLV, but another type.  The vet gave him only days to live...w/ a transfusion and some pred. the little stinker hung on for 1 1/2 months!  He was a fighter till the end....I miss you so much O-man!!!  ya little brat!
