My name is Sammy, short for Samantha.  My Mom calls me Sam, Sammy Girl, Ghost Kitty, Sam-I-Am, Mow-Mow Kitty, Pretty Girl and a bunch of other silly names (but I like it).  How I came to be with my Mom is a pretty normal story, but still special to us.  Mom worked with a lady whose neighbors had a cat (my cat mom) that had just had kittens (me being one of them).  The neighbors were getting ready to move overseas somewhere where the dad's job was sending him and they were trying like mad to find homes for all of us.  Mom said she'd take one of the kittens and that's how I ended up with her.  I was here before all the other cats in our home and I, unlike Samson & Twister, have no problems with anybody, as long as they leave me be.  It's not that I'm unfriendly mind you, I just have no patience anymore for young whipper snappers who pounce on you from out of nowhere.  I just want to eat my yummies, watch the birds from the top of the cat tree, and sleep.
