Hey my name is Meeko and im a Maine Coon, im born in sydney.

My mum told me there are not very many maine coons in Australia and that people are always fascinated by my size here and talk about my weight alot, thank goodness im above it all and dont take offense, people pass me around alot and carry on with excitment over how big i am and talk about my age alot too, thank god im a male and these thinks dont faze me, i came to my parents on my own and then dad went back and got my sister as they thought i seemed bored, i actually was just sleeping but hey i cant blame them for getting a little confused there only humans after all.

I actually chose my sister, it turns out two of my sisters from my litter hadnt been sold yet and i was taken back to the breeders house and left to find my play mate, well this girl who looked abit like me kept sniffing my private places and asking who the hell i was , i was trying to get away from her and turned around to chase her back thinking she would back off but mum took it as a sign that i liked this sister and bought her on the spot and the next thing i know im in the carrier with this annoying chatter box the whole way home.

We get along now but man she can be irritating, she is super hypo and wants to play 24/7 i just want to sleep and mellow out.

Im getting really big now, mum claims i have grown so fast that i must have stretch marks under my fur, she seems to think thats funny but i heard dad say that she has some too and she didnt laugh at that so maybe he told the joke wrong

I love my family,i follow them everywhere and i hate being groomed and mum gets cranky and keeps telling me to keep still so she gets the knots out.. its boring i would rather be sleeping and eating and cuddling up to someone but i get a treat in the end and thats worth it.

Hi my name is Alaska and im a Maine Coon, i was born in sydney and live with brother and mum and dad, he is actually my real brother so i have only lived 2 weeks without him my whole life.

I love to play every thing is a toy, and im always in trouble usually because i cant keep still and im soooo nosy, i cant help it i need to know whats going on, my brother is so relaxed and loves to be picked up and pampered and even doesnt mind the bath.

I think all those things take up valuable watching Tv and playing time, i love my dad best, my mum has a loud voice and is hyper like me and i dont like it , frankly i think im better at those things then her...

I sometimes get excited i do silly things. i peed on the bed recently and mum got so mad i got banned from the bedroom i saw she bought a new quilt and in my excitement about the new one i peed on that too apparently that was very naughty and now we both arent allowed in the room unsupervised...my brother is mad because he has no issues with using his litter and i generally dont but i got excited and now im banned for life from my favourite sleeping spot...

its ok i now sleep in the clean clothes basket that mum has to iron,, wait till she sees how much i have shed in there..hahaha
