My mommy was looking for a buddy for my older brother Blue.  She went from shelter to shelter until she found me.  As soon as she held me, I purred up a storm and that was that.  I had a wonderful home for life.  She held me w/such love I knew I was in heaven.  We were made for each other.  And for Blue, buddies from the start. 

I was only 4 months old when I was adopted.  I got so sick the first night, that my mommy drove all over New Jersey looking for a Veterinarian, getting lost for hours.  She was so worried and lost, she was crying while driving.  She finally found a Vet.  There was no real worry, I only had a mild upper respiratory infection.  Which my mommy nursed me back to health.      

The rest of my life is full of mischief and love and all that good stuff tht goes w/a good home w/good loving.  And that brings us up to date!

My mommy is a petsitter.  She was taking care of a clients strays (me being one) in her backyard.  She saw me with this terrible (L) eye infection.  She knew I would not survive the winter in this condition.  She and her best friend trapped me and brought me first thing to her Vet.  They dewormed me and cleaned up my eye.  Other than my infected eye, I got a good bill of health.  I was some real spitfire.  They earned their money. LOL  I was then sent to an opthomologist, who found the eye stuck behind the third eyelid.  I went back to my Vet. and they removed all the debree including the cornea.  Mind you, I hadto wear a darn cone on my head for weeks on end.  It was well worth it.   Now I run around like I have 3 eyes.  I drive my mommy crazy.  But she loves me so much, I get away with everything. :).  Thanks to such a wonderful mommy, I know live a wonderful life w/my 4 other siblings (older).  I just love to terrorize them. LOL  But they to, luv me, who wouldn't!!!

Happy as can be  

I was only a few weeks old when someone put me in a trunk of a car soak and wet w/flea shampoo all over me.  They put me in the wheel well of the tire.  I was so ill, that I thought I was a gonner.   My mommy found me and pulled me out and brought me home and washed and dried me off w/a blow dryer.  I was shivering for 45 minutes straight.  My eyes were totally dialated, I could not keep my head up at all.  The Vet. said I was not going to make it.  But my mommy did not give up.  She gave me sugar water in a spoon in my mouth, and held me under her shirt on her belly for the whole 45 minutes until I stopped shivering.  She locked me in a cat carrier w/a lamp on me all night to keep me warm.  And guess what!  I am still here today, thank god for my mommy's love and patience.

My mommy went into a pet shop to look at a hedghog.  She found me instead.  I was really sick, she just could not leave me.  I was loaded w/flea's & had diarrhea for 4 months.  The pet shop offered to take me back, but she refused to return me back to that abuse.  Instead she nursed me back to health.  About 6 months later I was well enough to join the rest of the gang.  Back then the gang consisted  of 10 siblings.  Now I run & play with my brothers & sister, healthy and happy every day.  Thanks to my mommy's love and patience.
