Well we got Taz from Brookville, PA.   It is 5 hours one way... he is a great boy and I still keep in touch with the breeder!

Gizmo is interesting.   We acquired him by luck.   Devon Rexes are on the rare side and we always liked them.  Never thought we would have one.   In February of 2007 we were at a cat shown in Kimberton, PA and we were talking to a Devon Rex breeder and after talking to my husband and I she knew we were good people.   She mentioned that she has a breeder friend that is very sick and she has one of his cats- the cat is 1 and 1/2 years old and would we be interested.   We said yes and she drove back to Maryland and brough him to the cat show the next day.   We fell in love.   We only had to pay $100 for him.    He is so sweet and cuddly and follows you like a dog, fetches his toys.  He is very active for his age... and a clown!

We have a screened in front porch and he is out there alot... and always begging to go out.

Kasey was my husband and my first pedigree cat and first Scottish Fold.   It was the first time we ever dealt with a breeder and unfortunately she was breeding more for looks.   She leased the mommy from another breeder and that cat ran when you tried to pet her.   Kasey's daddy was the breeders and his disposition was good.  Kasey was also not handled enough by the breeder.  He was neurotic and scared alot of his life.   He did mellow as he got older and he was sweet, but not overly affectionate.    He did have a quirk... he would play with toys AFTER we went to sleep and I used to give him xmas bows to play with.   He had this strange cooing he would make like he was singing to it.
