He's in Heaven Now
My cat Snuggles had to be put to sleep today......I have never had to put an animal down...and i don't think I wanna do it again........He was getting old and was a rescue cat to begin with...he was strangled as a kitten and could not really meow....his health was going downhill and I didnt want him in pain anymore...but it still hurts..He was family...I will miss him so much..........R.I.P Snuggles 07/29/2008

So sorry to hear about your loss. We know how you feel, we had to put down our Tigre after 17 years, and Tosh after 16 years. It tears your heart out. Your kitty will always hold a special place in your heart and was very fortunate to have someone love him.

Thank all of you who understood the loss of my furry friend.....He is so missed ...I expected him to be in the widow as usual this morning but then the tears came down and I realized he is not in pain anymore,but I will always love him, thank you again

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I can't imagine the pain you are going thru. You did the right thing, but only time will heal your grief.

i am soooo sorry to hear that.I know the feeling of losing a baby, i was forced to do that once. Snuggles is now happy in CAT-heaven.. god bless!

It is very hard to put a pet down, I know the feeling very well. My vet once told me to ask yourself if you are keeping the pet alive for youself or the pet's well being. That has helped me a lot in the past years. I've had several that I had to put to sleep. It doesn't get any easier, but I think being with them in the end helps a lot too. I'm very sorry about your kittie...We'll keep you in our furry prayers!
