Day 983 of my captivity.
My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects.
They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to keep up my strength.
The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet.
Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a 'good little hunter' I am. Bastards.
There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of 'allergies.' I must learn what this means and how to use it to my advantage.
Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs.
I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded.
The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicating with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe. For now.................

Yesterday one of our dog agility friends experienced a tragedy and wanted me to pass a special message along to all of my dog loving friends and family. Please tell every dog owner you know.
Over the weekend the doting owner of two young lab mixes purchased Cocoa Mulch from Target to use in their garden. They loved the way it smelled and it was advertised to keep cats away from their garden.
Their dog Calypso decided that the mulch smelled good enough to eat and devoured a large helping. She vomited a few times which was typical when she eats something new but wasn't acting lethargic in any way. The next day, Mum woke up and took Calypso out for her morning walk. Half way through the walk, she had a seizure and died instantly.
Although the mulch had NO warnings printed on the label, upon further investigation on the company's website, this product is HIGHLY toxic to dogs and cats.
Cocoa Mulch is manufactured by Hershey's, and they claim that "It is true that studies have shown that 50% of the dogs that eat Cocoa Mulch can
suffer physical harm to a variety of degrees (depending on each individual dog). However, 98% of all dogs won't eat it.
"
Also included was the following information -
Quote:
Cocoa Mulch, which is sold by Home Depot, Foreman's Garden Supply and other Garden supply stores, contains a lethal ingredient called "Theobromine". It is lethal to dogs and cats. It smells like chocolate and it really attracts dogs. They will ingest this stuff and die.
Several deaths already occurred in the last 2-3 weeks. Just a word of caution, check what you are using in your gardens and be aware of what your gardeners are using in your gardens.
Cocoa bean shells contain potentially toxic quantities of theobromine, a xanthine compound similar in effects to caffeine and theophylline. A dog that ingested a lethal quantity of garden mulch made from cacao bean shells developed severe convulsions and died 17 hours later. Analysis of the stomach contents and the ingested cacao bean shells revealed the presence of lethal amounts of theobromine.
PLEASE GIVE THIS THE WIDEST DISTRIBUTION!!!
YES MUM FOUND SNAPS OF ME AS A LITTLE UN ..
Hello my friends, i cannot believe mum's been fishing through all her snaps and found these two of me as a baby, im so pretty dont you think??""
Well i had to have a blood test done when i was about 3 mths old as mum's other 2 cats caught feline leukemia, and sadly both died within a day of each other, i dont really remember them, but they was both pregnant and had had a litter each, and the litter didnt survive in both cases even though mum rushed them to the vet that sad day..
But they tested me and i was ok, thankgod, cos i dont know what i would of done without my mum..
Anyway just wanted to boast about me new snaps really.. have a lovely cat nap today, and speak soon my friends xx
My first blog all about me..
Well here is my first blog, mums been on the computer all morning so i havent had a chance to have a go..
Well im glad i found this site, its purrfffeeecccttt... meow..
as ya know by now im old, but very delicate, mum got me from her sister's cat who had kittys, i look just like my cat mum, i havent seen her since i left to come live with my human mum..
But hey she is great, when i first arrived my human mum had only 2 children,( Now she has 4 and 2 grandchildren, such stress) that was easy enough to handle, then she got 2 more cats, one was a stray persian he kept comin into MY garden, sniffin round, for food, and mum being how she is, fed him, so of course he kept comin back. I would of ssshh but dont tell her that, meow..well charlie kept disappearing and he also had a dirty habit of pooing in the house, mum didnt like that, no no, so when we moved house charlie came with and then he disappeared, and we never saw him again..
Mum was sad for ages, but hey i said " You still got me".
I had to have a blood test for Feline Leukemia as the other 2 cats she had passed away from it, thankfully i was clear and here i am, alive and kicking..
Now my owners dog Charlie boy is a different matter, u see he came to us about a yr ago, and he got his own bed, bowl, food, and i felt pushed out, i mean i have to go out at night, apparently mum says cats are nocturnal, thats a lot of u know what meow meow, anyway, so i now sleep in his bed... he hates it but hey its so nice and cosy, and guess what, mum only washed it yesterday, just for me... i think..
But hey me and charlie have a understanding, he sleeps in it at night, and i have it during the day..
Well im gettin tired now, have been up all night, so have a great time on here and meow soon ok xx
Love cassie xx
