Morning Time
I just don't understand humans sometimes. Usually, my mommy wakes up in the morning when the black box starts beeping. That's when it's happy time for me! She goes into the bathroom, and I roly poly on her feet and she pets me. It's my favorite. But every now and then (usually once or twice every week), the black box doesn't beep and mommy and daddy don't get out of bed. I try to be helpful, so I emulate the black box. I meow and meow and meow until they start to stir. But they just keep laying there! So I meow some more and jump on the bed. Then they start petting me on the bed. Why don't they understand that it's time to get up and have morning bathroom snuggles? Ugh, humans!

You're probably the one annoying cat of the humans' that I haven't met.
Anyway, getting human attention is really easy. Wack them over the head with a large stick. Of course, stash it before they wake up. If you don't have a large stick, you can always use one of these strange "gee-tahrs" the humans speak of. They won't understand what you want until you go into the bathroom, like Mye said, though.

Aww, poor Punky! Maybe if you go in the bathroom and meow, your mommy will understand what you want.
When my mom doesn't understand what I want, I go to the door and meow like I don't know she's in the room. 
She doesn't appreciate it, but it gets her attention!
