Tigger was the second cat to come live with us...   Thomas, a Norwegian Forest cat was the first, and he passed away almost 4 years ago now...she IS the queen, wild girl - used to fly through the house, knock over plants - her mother, on the other hand, hid under a bed for about two years while living with the director of our local PAWS group, People for Animal Welfare & Safety - she was lucky to be warm and cared for, unlike so many in Northern Ontario.  Tig is now about 14 years old, healthy and content, sharing her status with a younger queen wannabee, MinaNoEars.

...she was young, pregnant, in the shelter ready to be put down as there were too many at the time and she would be the first to go - she looked bad with her ears bleeding and lost to frostbite - they froze off perfectly though, looking like a Scottish Fold - a real witch, she fights alongside Tigger for dominance and protection...we still have 3 of her boys - she wasn't the best mother - the day they were born I awakened to her chasing what I thought was her tail but it was the first born being thrown around by the umbilical cord - I had to snip all but one cord as Mina really was too young to be a good mom...

..wandered in as a big handsome stud, got fat and became the grandfather to Mina's unwanted children...beautiful dipstick black tail and one swatch of black on his head with a white backdrop - lovely goodnatured baby...

...Austin, although a girl, was named by my young daughter after Austin Powers....her mother was a stray cat who looked just like a skunk at the back door, 'cept the stripe went the other way...she was a skittish little thing, eventually had a heart attack at the age of 8, but I still have her girl Austin, beautiful marble colours, and two of her boys, Beans and Buttons, their bio to follow...

Bad boy brother to Austin...he and his bro Buttons, the most handsome of the male cats are unfortunately, pee and spray machines, even tho' neutered at an early age...too many cats I guess, a learned behaviour.  End of story. Unadoptable. Always a home with us.  Very lovable.
