Sneakers is delight to have in our family.  She is quite the diva, but like most other cats, she knows your emotions and often times will treat you accordingly to them. For example, when my grandfather passed away, she would kindly just sit in my lap and purr. She never got angry for the whole week I was upset.  We got her from our neighbor who had to give her to us because she already had 2 cats who were not so amused at the thought of another family member. Our neighbor got the kitten that she gave to us from her boyfriend's sister who decided she just didn't want a cat anymore. We never found out from our neighbor's boyfriend where Sneakers came from. ( she broke up with him shortly there after.) One thing we do know is that she was the runt of the littler, so was free. Sneakers is supposedly a cross between a maine coon and tabby.  She LOVES to chase things, as well as hunt. When she wants something, her diva side comes out. She will whine until she gets what she wants, and often times we will find her very jelous when we give our dog  lots of attention.  We named her Sneakers because she was so little when she was a kitten , she would sleep in my dad's shoes.
