I'm a calico or tortoise shell mix, like my big sis.
I'm a cuddly, furry, and very gentle creature. Sometimes 2 a fault. I need 2 B more assertive rather than submissive or let my big sis pick on me. But when I choose 2 B, LOOK OUT
!
My misses thinks I was the runt of the litter but that I am also "adorable" in every way. The sis and I R soooo different but she loves us both just the same.
I'm more vocal now. It has taken a lot of time and patience on the misses part 2 gain my total trust. But so well worth it, 4 both of us
! However, I'm not social with anyone else. But a great companion 4 her. When I'm skittish, she accepts that and lets me come 2 her when I'm ready.....
I'm playful and very affectionate. And I'm very inquisitive. Love 2 look out open windows. AND do notice when something has been changed, moved around or taken away, etc. And check out the shopping bags when she comes in from running her errands.
I love 2 B combed out (because I know here come the treats)!. Never am fussy. Except when getting that nasty fur ball medicine.
The misses has a condition called torticollis. She has good days and bad days. But fights it, mostly with a good sense of humor and support from friends who accept how she looks and knows it is what is on the inside that matters. She sees a chiropractor 2 try and keep the rest of her body aligned correctly. Otherwise she has lower back pain and sometimes numbness in her other foot.
SHE'S TOUGH (ROARRRR) with God's daily assistance. And tries 2 assist others as best as she can.
And her love of animals is very strong and is a mission of hers. She will not tolerate someone abusing a pet or any animal. She'll step in without any hesitation. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR ABUSE OR NEGLECT!!!!
She has helped 2 wild strays that showed up on our complex find homes.
The neighbor hood pets luv her and she will visit them when she can. But she always comes home 2 us, with lots of attention and XO's. She sings 2 me or dances with me. Sometimes it is nice (cuddling) purrrrr. But at other times, it can be both a nuisance and embarrassing

My name is AB. And I am a Tabby cat (not listed above). I was a frightened kitten who needed a home. I became my "Mommas Girl" when she saw me and decided to take me in off the streets when her friend found me. AND we became the best-est of friends.
Even though she was fighting some illnesses and not always feeling well.
I use to love to talk on the phone to people. Very social-able was I, in person, also. I use to walk outside on a leash, just like dogs on the sidewalk. Got a lot of surprised looks from people!!
I remember when I got spayed and declawed mommy slept on the floor a few nights so I wouldn't hurt myself. Gave me lots of TLC.
I could spent hours looking out the window and watching the birds and people. If my misses had been out and came home and didn't come directly in to me (or if I got too impatient), I would let her know by meowing to her. She'd hear me from the open window and come in and I'd be so affectionate, as was she.
Once she left me one week-end and cried so much when she came home. Missed me that much (what a sissy)!
I loved wondering in the hallways and saying hello to the neighbors.
I loved to run and play. And rule the home as all us cats do. Me and the misses were very close.
Unfortunately a few years later my best-est pal got very ill and had no other choice but to put me up for adoption. She became bed ridden on some days and couldn't take care of herself, let alone me. I was so very active. She prayed many nights over this decision. It broke both our hearts
. And no one she knew would take me until she could again give me her full attention and not feel like she was neglecting me.
The day she took me to the shelter and she put me in God's loving arms and care. An elderly couple took me within two days. What a blessing for me and a big relief to her. But what a loss and the final blow knowing it was the end of the road for her and I. When the shelter did call them on her behalf to check on me, their daughter said they were making out fine with me. But thought it would be best if there were no more communications between them and I. So the misses honored their wishes.
She cried for months and was so lost. But also had to take care of herself. AND thought she had made the best decision she could at that particular time. But it hasn't stopped her from wondering about me. She hopes we both will be united one day in heaven and I'll at least remember her. And she can hug and squeeze me and be reassured that I was OK all along. And that she didn't have to worry so much then, or still>>>>.
I'm still in her heart. AND unfortunately not all adoptions end with a Happy Ever After. But I did find another home, with God's Grace. And some new adoptive owners do wish to not be in contact with the prior one, even if it's just to check on me. She wanted me to have a better life. It sucked that decision. She did suffer. That it had to turn out like that. And it's sad. But it was for me, her #1 priority.

I was Awesome J. I came from a farm and didn't look any thing like a poodle until I got clipped and groomed 4 the first time.
I lived a very full and happy life with the family.
I enjoyed being outside on the clothes line and running back and forth on it. It kept me from chasing rabbits, etc, and getting into trouble.
I could always tell when someone came home, even though they parked N front. And would bark until they came and got me.
This lady would always come looking 4 me. And greet me with as much affection as I gave her. And take me 4 long walks. We were pals. Except when it was her turn 2 give me a bath. But afterwards, look out!!!
I know one instance she proved her undying love when she had hurt her knee and was on crutches. I got hit by a car (chasing some critter I'm sure). Luckily a fellow she went to High School with called and had me. She took off running 2 get 2 me. I was a block away. I ended up with only a broken leg. After it was over with, we were gimpy and gimpy.
I lived 2 be with the family around 12 years. I got a cancerous growth in my throat and was having trouble breathing. It broke this lady's heart, 4 sure
. She still misses me when she goes into that house, even now>>>>>.
I was bred with another poodle. We had 3 pups. The mother rejected them so my people family tried 2 save them. Feedings around the clock, etc. Only Awnry S survived (pictured with me in 1980). SO above dates are real guesses. He was adopted by this lady's sis. He has since passed on, also. He was around 8 when he left us 2 join his daddy and God.
We three will meet again, someday. Until then, there are the memories of all the love and laughter we shared. AS well as the heart ache of our leaving her. Which will be replaced with over abundant joy.
RIP and God Bless and thanks 4 being in this lady's life.

My entire profile was on here but somehow got deleted (?). SO here we go again.....
I am a calico or tortoise shell kitty (not listed on list????). AND I ,the ruling member, live with my adoptive mom and littler sis. We first lived with our daddy when he came and saved us from the SPCA as little ones. This neighbor lady came and visited us quite often. We didn't know that she would one day become our mommy.
About a year and a half later, our daddy went 2 Florida and was killed in a car accident
. She didn't want us 2 end up at the pound or possibly separated or even worse, euthanized. And we knew each other.
The misses is home a lot due 2 her disability and loves our companionship and vice versa (purrrr).
I know she adores me, even when I can B her lovable little creep
, at times. I get into moods sometimes and hiss and swat at her and the little sis and they have no clue why? Full Moon? Do cats go thru menopause?
I like playing and tossing my mice N the air and running around here bouncing off the walls (I've been known 2 turn either the heat or air on before) lol. Or slamming the bathroom door behind me when I want some attention or just in a funk... Or I try 2 go through the balcony door or screen 2 get 2 da birds and OUCH
. But the mum has unconditional love 4 me. She will love all over me and B soooooo very affectionate
. And she'll dance 2 a commercial in her chair and sing 2 me and it can be so embarrassing. I whine to tell her 2 stop. So she can be "a wild and crazy gal" also, at times. But not at all like me and I'm proud of it.
I am friendly with people, but only after I have been around them a few times.
And love 2 play in the hallways. And sit out on the balcony and people or bird watch. I've brought in dead butterflies or moths or one time a bird. Misses was horrified and told me 2 let it go and it flew away.
Like 2 watch lady bugs climb up the balcony door. I swat them down only 4 them 2 climb up again and again.
I can B both a pain but also very protective and caring of the little sis. We Girls Stick Together!!
All and All, we R a Happy Family and praise God 4 all of his daily blessings.

I showed up at friends of this mustluvcats home. I was so little and a frightened kitten that they gave shelter and food 2. I got friendlier as time went on. My owners built a shelter 4 me for the winter under the house with a cover. This lady would come visit and I would let her pet me but not pick me up. She was very attentive and patient and liked spending time with me. We did become pals, even though I was very shy and skittish. She grew very attached 2 me and tried sooooo very hard 2 find me a home so I wouldn't B outside all the time. And feared 4 my safety, especially since I was so little. My owners wouldn't let me inside. They had only raised dogs so they didn't know what 2 do with me and were afraid I may do damage 2 the inside of their home. Or hurt their dogs who seemed 2 like me when they came out 2 do their business.
I ended up causing a lot of friction between these friends.
The following spring I was killed by a Tom Cat, which was her biggest fear realized. It was an unforeseen event when it occurred at night as the owners were in bed. I was probably 6 or 7 months old. It happened under the house. The owners heard but with it being late at night, they were afraid. They never saw me again and they assumed I couldn't have been saved anyway. But if this lady would have been there, she would have done it all differently and would have gone out and made a ton of noise and sprayed water or done anything 2 help me, if she had been there... She looked 4 me under the house (where she could crawl and reach) and prayed, but???? And was so upset with herself that she hadn't been able 2 catch me / done more 2 get me adopted by someone who would have protected me. It wasn't out of lack of trying on her part. She tried several times but was never able 2 catch or hold me long enough 2 put me in a carrier she had brought over so that's not her fault (me squirming out of her arms).
She was and is still disturbed by my short life and how it ended. If only someway I could have at least been caught and taken 2 a shelter or adopted by a friend. Set up a humane trap. The owners claimed they were going 2 do so. But never did. But she feared I would have been euthanized and didn't want that either. But I guess that would have been better than the way I did die.
Some people don't understand the needs of animals. Or even how to treat people and not be rude or selfish. Or R so indifferent. But this little one needed even more attention and protecting. And being sure she had proper food, water, etc.
This lady would give me food and water when I had none. And love.
You'll never be forgotten by this pal who did truly loved you and wanted so much more 4 you and you deserved it also.......
RIP and she can find PEACE knowing God has you in his loving arms now.
