Jimmy is one of 6 boys from a litter of "Mommy"'s former roommate in California. Right away, Jimmy loved to be Mr. Curious. He would roam the house, adopting even the male human in the home who was not too fond of cats and making him love him. He used to be known as "Rex" by this man. Being one of the 4 black kittens, Jimmy was named in honor of "Mommy"'s beloved grandfather who was James Franklin, as her cousin's other slightly older black cat had been named after her recently deceased Uncle Walt. So "Mommy" carried on the tradition and it hasn't been all in name only. Jimmy instantly loved to listen to Elvis with the man in the house at the time. He came along with Mommy when she moved to Colorado only 3 months after his birth to originally keep his brother, Bandit, company but also because he'd won over Mommy and her friend asked her to keep him so that he could visit later. Classical music is a favorite as is watching "Lonesome Dove." Ironically that movie was a favorite of his namesake as was classical music. Jimmy is bold, loves attention and often into being crazy with mischief. He makes sure his Mommy knows when he needs something or wants attention. He will often run out to greet everyone and loves to lay across the back of the couch. He is fast. One funny trait of Jimmy's is that whenever Captain Jack Sparrow appears on screen, Jimmy begins to swat at the screen like he's after a fly or moth. We don't know what it is, if it's just the way Jack moves or what. He gets a little jealous too when Mommy has any male human even near her or when his brother, Bandit, is receiving attention.
