This sweet wonderful kitten made her way into our life when I was at a very very low point.  I had just gotten off the phone with my 2 yr. old granddaughter (who 2 months earlier was whisked away to another state thanks to her new daddy and her mom).  My granddaughter has been part of my life since she was born so I was outside crying after talking with her as I was missing her so badly; my husband came out and said "what is that down there in the yard" there was something small moving in the grass on the other side of our fence; I said what a mouse; he said I don't know.  Then I looked up and seen our neighbors over away from their house throwing something on the ground--it was a small yellow kitten.  I said "they are throwing kittens out"; by that time he was already outside.  I need to interject something here...I brought home a couple of stray cats from where I work and hubby had told me if I brought home another cat he would divorce me.  Next thing I know he brings in this beautiful little kitten into me; a verigate color of black, sand, brown, white all mixed throughout.  At first she was totally scared so we kept her confined to a kennel when we weren't handleing her until she got used to us and our environment...have several dogs.  Well, now it is August and she thinks she is part dog and part human.  As soon as you sit down to eat she is right there wanting her portion, she plays outside in the back yard with the dogs, licks your face like a dog, andlays down with the dogs.  She is my little angel in disguise.  Allot like my granddaughter she always was by our side when we ate. LOL...she lays on my pillow at night and snuggles up to me to sleep; she comes when I call her name and at night after playing outside when I get home from work she jumps into my lap crawls up on me until I fold my arms so she can lay down on her back, belly up and fall asleep...I kid you know; just like a little kid.

I know that the Lord felt my pain when He sent this kitten to me....BTW...our backyard has a high wood fence, with a small electric wire around it.  The animals can here the buzzing of the wire so they stay away from it which keeps them from getting out.  They are never left outside when we aren't home.  My animals are my kids.
