Frito's New Girl?!!!?!?
Okay. I'm a pretty tolerant cat. I deal with the females that I have now. Lea's clingy and Gina has authority issues, but I've learned to adapt. The humans think I'm a lap cat and should weigh 15 pounds. I've learned to appease their occasional needs for affection, but diet food is just not my thing...and we have all adapted to that pretty successfully over the years. b-l-a-s-t, let me tell you. Dress up, beauty shop, the not-so-joyful noises that they make...but, once again, I adapted. When I met Sal E., I said, "Oh, no, THAT is not moving in!!", but once I realized that he was totally insane and did not share my passive personality, I adapted. I am the definition of adaptation....until now.
The crazy mom human is trying to befriend another stray that they think is a girl. It's taken her two weeks to get the cat close enough to pet...and she actually had the nerve to CUDDLE this flea ridden, sack of bones in my presence. Can you imagine??? Not only are they bringing in a violin--but another GIRL!!!!
They haven't picked a name for it yet and aren't sure if it's going to "decide" to be ours. Mom think it's hanging out some down the street too. She hopes not, though, because she says it's personality reminds her so much of Sal. Great. Another psycho "tree sticker"...just what I need. I think I feel a hairball coming on. Help???

Aww, she's beautiful! The "strays" that we've befriended are named Little Yellow Kitty (or Lil Yeller- she talks a lot) and Grammy Yellow, and now we have BeeGees, which is short for Baby Grammy. Mom is SO not creative with our stray kitty names! Even the house kitty names- TYK- Tiny Yellow Kitty- come on Mom! He's not even little! But she says "Yellow" is the family name. Mom thinks she should be named AG, for All Gray. You can call her Aggy. See? Our Mom has no creativity.
Is that a big bump on her nose? TYK has a slightly crooked nose too. It gives him a lot of character, and he's full of that, so it musta used to be a HUGE bump.

LOL My grandpa cat Chuck recently started bringing around a stray girl cat. My human even took pictures of her eating out of the "outside" cat bowl. All my human clowder are now calling her Belle because she is so pretty. Yuck! THen again the humans keep saying she looks like my mom Mia. I just wonder how soon I'll get to spy this cat for myself. BTW check out the forums my human has been posting in the pal section about multi cat houses, which includes those who feed and care for strays ^_^

Frito! That title of your blog had me feeling really jealous!!! Now I see that it's just a stray you're talking about. Hmmmm your mom sounds like mine. Any stray that comes along she wants to keep. The problem now is the dog chases them away! Mom gets really mad. I was a stray and I'm glad mom took me in. You are so dreamy that maybe this kitty heard about you and wanted to check you out.
