Hi, I'm Joey.  I'm a girl, ok.  Not a boy.  Why does everybody think I'm a boy?  My mom just happened to give me a gender neutral name.  I'm pretty heavy for a six month old kitten.  On the street, they call me Big Fat Joe.  BFJ for short. 

Most of my daily existence is spent protecting my BFF Sophie.  She's tiny and adorable, so people always want to pet and love and snuggle her because she's so cute.  My job is to distract them so Sophie can get some peace and quiet.  If someone is playing with Sophie and dragging a string on the ground, my job is to come flying from wherever I am in the house, knock Sophie out of the way, and take over the game.  If someone is trying to pet Sophie, I am supposed to jump on their lap and rub against them until Sophie is forgotten.  If my mom is working hard on her computer, typing away, doing important human things, it is essential that I jump on the desk and walk all over the keyboard.  This does absolutely nothing to protect Sophie, but it's really fun to watch the humans get mad, so I do it anyway.
