it was love @ first sight!! she was the most beautiful thing i had ever seen in my life...she came from a pet store, but the kind that takes in kittens if they are unwanted after they are born & they give them their first shots & you get food to take with you...it's really great deal. i live with my biological father whom i'm more of a roommate too & we have had a few roommates...totally on the level, but between them & my brothers coming to visit & the male cat living there, i needed a FEMALE roommate & didn't really want to have a female person there...my dad's the kind of person that will say that you can do something & then when someone official calls him, denies it all, so a shelter would have been totally outta the question...when i found punkin though, i knew what the deal was & she wasn't a bred cat, it was the closest thing to an animal shelter i was going to get for my situation...

i saw her throught the window & she had 2 sisters that were cute, but when i went to the cage, she came right up to me while her sisters kinda opened their eyes & then went back to sleep. she was too young to leave @ the time, so i had to wait a week, but after work while i was walking to the bus, i would stop by & look @ her & when she saw me, she got up & gave me that questioning look about when i was going to take her home...the day that she was able to come home, i went on my break to the store where she was & paid for her...i had to fight with the owner since they didn't wanna hold her for me since for some reason she seemed unsure i would come back for her...whatever...she knew how i felt & i was paying in cash...

that night i went back to get her & she came home in a build - a - bear box!! it was the best night of my life & she came with me everywhere...she came with me to visit my mom & i brought her in the build - a - bear box since it was the PERFECT carrier...ppl would ask why the box was meowing & she had on a harness & a leash, so towards the end of the 1 1/2 hour ride, most of the drivers would let me open the box & she would peak out as i held her leash...she would just look @ everyone & it was so amazing the way she looked @ everyone & the way that ppl responded to her...

moral to the story...she's the love of my life, my best - friend, & just probably the greatest PERSON i have ever met...she's more then a cat, she my little calico baby girl & my mom's grand kitty...she has an uncle john & great grandparents...she's more then a kitty to everyone...
