I saw Spooky in a PetSmart store over in Muncie, IN when he was just 2-3 months old & he was sweet, purry &  enjoyed finger playing.

He was happy kitty  little instingator with our other pets...he actually giggled & run off one of the cutest but strangest things we've ever heard from a cat. He love to play hide & seek, play under covers and spook you when u weren't expecting it jsut to get his jollies...adorable little brat he was. However he kept having reoccuring UTI from the get-go and over the early spring of 2004 he started sleeping alot, not active or playful but happy to let u hold him or cuddle into u. Doctors wanted to test him for something more than typical UTI kidney disease but hubby had gotten laid off in march of 2004 and was still unemployed but searching. His fur started changing and it was more than shedding and he got this internal smell of death by mid-June...and was gone by early August.

I was working at the local human shelter and my department was the cat area. A small group of 4 kitten were brought in that were days old and their mother had been hit by a car earlier that day. I took them home with my other shelter cats, our own kitties & my beagle.

Tigger was the strongest, biggest and most willful of the group of them. He had so many problems i think 1st 3 months his life i spent bouncing from work (break to feed or clean him or taking him to the vet office with several concerns & questions) i kept him crated with other sibling that hadnt died  laying ontop of heating pad with blanket covering them  trying to keep them warm as their mama would have. Over time he grew into pretty grey tiger stripped kitty the lone survivor of the group. He had Toby to play with and later Missy became his mate dispite being neutred before his boys(testicles) were even in working order. I guess when love & affection happens between a couple it doesnt matter if shooting blank even in cat world...its still wonderful thing to see. :D

Anyway,  almost all of tigger medical problem went away in time but his Urinary problems ..seemed like he at vet office every month to a couple months with UTI and other odd urinary conditions. By Summer of 2006 He was getting so bad  started urinating  anywhere he was located at..floors..couch...bed...table top..yes & his litter boxes...it really didn't matter where he  just wasnt capible of holding his bladder. It was month long discision  but my house was so unclean smelling dispite scrubing i gave into the pressure of other family members request & my own disgust of fowl stinch of aniaml waste had him put down...my rescue kitty boy.
