Mad Dog Palin Hates Cats

That lady is a trash-mouthed imbecile.  Our Biggie is more Presidential.

The original video I was going to post was recently removed from youtube. In it, when asked by an interviewer to tell what they know about Sarah, her group of friends, the so-called "Elite Six" (oh, elitist, eh??) responded immediately, FIRST THING, that she HATES CATS!  I've always said you can't trust a person who hates cats.  It's a barometer for EVIL!!!  Beware America!

Footie Likes Zucchini!

What's up, cat buddies, Whitefoot here.  I just discovered a new treat that I like a lot to eat - it's called zucchini!  It's so tasty and juicy and a little bit salty.  The humans accidentally dropped a piece of it (steamed) on the floor while they were cooking dinner, and they found me licking it up and trying to chow down on it!  I couldn't eat the skin, but the lady took a piece and cut the insides out of it and chopped it up into little bite-sized pieces for me.  I liked its salty flavor!  The zucchini squash had no salt added or spices or oils or nothing - just plain!  I loved it! Tongue out

More Sushi!

So the humans went out for sushi again tonight and I guess they got some that they didn't like all that much, because they brought us home a slice.  And boy did we scarf that down!  The man human had to carry it home in his pocket for us.  It was wrapped in 2 paper chopstick wrappers (not the thin ones). When the lady asked him to make a stop at the grocery store on the way home, he said no because, "I have a fish in my pocket". That was so funny, the lady laughed and laughed when he said that.  ANYWAY, we recommend you kitties who get to live outside hang around the humans' house more often.  You never know when they might come out with some fresh raw fish or something like that.  Those other cats that hide out in the jungle don't know what they're missin.  We get all kinds of treats.  Those humans aren't so bad.  They just give us the snacks and don't try to pick us up or nothin.

Love,

Snowy and Whitefoot

Friday Night Party Catjungle style

What a night we had last nite!  Nipsey was in the window acting goofy as usual and the humans decided it would be fun to take the birdie toy out to play with her (you know, the bird on a string on a stick)..  well, Nipsey had a ball with it.  Soon Footie came up and joined in and they both played with that crazy flying bird on a stick.  Well THEN, we all hear a meowing in the darkness "meow! meow!  meow! meow! meow!"  in quick succession, little meow like a crazed little Snowy, and sure enough, here comes Snowy with.. we knew it!  a MOUSE!  She came trotting up all mewy and kooky and she's like "look what I got guys!" and she dropped that little mouse right in the middle of the game at everyone's feet.  The little mouse's feet were sticking straight up in the air like a cartoon mouse!  It was quite the scene.  Poor little mousie, I wonder how many meeces our little tough-guy Snowy catches in a typical week?  6?  2-a-day?  who knows!  That Snowy, she's always on the hunt.  Anyway, right after she showed it to us, she ran off with it back to the jungle, but she soon decided that our bird-game was more exciting, and must've abandoned her catch because she came right back and played with us for a while.  Snowy is MEAN when she attacks that bird-on-a-string!  She takes that thing down with her long arm of the Snowy Law!  Footie is a gentle soul and just kind of plays with it lightly.  Of course, she has a hurt foot, so she doesn't jump as much (although she CAN, she'd rather not most of the time - unless it involves climbing trees or getting up into the windowsill).  But Nipsey, she was funny.  Nipsey just rolls around on her back to play with the bird.  It was so funny!  The humans just laugh and laugh at funny Nipsey's antics.   Nipsey's a comedian just like her namesake.   The lady took video of this whole scene but it was dark out and the video didn't really come out so good.   Just lots of sounds of the humans giggling at us goofball kitties - we are SO entertaining!

A Breakthrough with Nipsey - Psychic Messages!

I made a breakthrough with Nipsey.  Everyone thinks I'm crazy, but it's absolutely true.  Nipsey and I sat down together and had a telepathic heart-to-heart in silence.  It only took about 5 seconds.  After lots of rambling onto deaf ears, in the high-pitched baby voice we all use to talk to cats, "Nipsey!  Come back and stay with us!  We love you!  This is your home! blahblahblah"  I finally said to myself, "Well, duh, I need to speak to her telepathically, that's the only way to communicate with a cat..  I used to have psychic conversations with my old cat all the time"....

So I did it.  I looked straight into Nipsey's eyes and I said to her Very Firmly, without words, "Nipsey.  You need to come here and stay during the day, when the food is out.  We have an all-you-can-eat buffet here all day long.  You can eat all day."  And she looked back into my eyes very pointedly and said to me right back, "Food all day you say?  OK.  You got it."  She said that!  I FELT it like a brick wall, Nipsey's psychic message.  And she heard mine.  It's true!  So then I thought to myself, "I'm pretty damn sure she just got the message, but the true test will be if she stays around tomorrow"....

And sure enough, she's been here all day and night ever since that moment of our little exchange.  This is after months of only showing up at night, and acting all crazy and desperate for food, which is in scarce supply when you have to compete with the raccoons and possums.

Now Nipsey is a fixture in the catjungle once again.  She snuggles with Snowy on the big pillow at night and confidently splays herself across the table during the day.  She also naps in the grass, which none of the other cats have ever done, just like she did in the old days.  You have to understand, it's been over half a year since Nipsey was last making her home here.   She was altogether missing for 3 months, and it's been exactly 4 more that she's been only occasionally appearing at night.

So!  Have a psychic conversation with your cat today!  All the words in the world mean nothing to them, if you don't beam that message straight to them with deliberate psychic rays.  I'm 100% serious, although I still can't get anyone to respond to this concept with anything more than a contorted face that says, "I'm trying not to say out loud that I think you're batshit crazy, lady!"

It's Vet Time Again

Today Brownie and Snowy went to the vet for their yearly shots.  Brownie was looking rather thin and mangey and they told us she was possibly allergic to fleas, so they both got cortizone shots.  They were such good girls!  Brownie growled when they tried to look into her mouth, but otherwise they let the vets hold them and carry them around and they didn't freak out or carry on or anything!  Our girls are so good!

So that's 2 down, and 4 to go...  We're not looking forward to it.  Whitefoot will be easy, but it's going to be quite the ordeal capturing Biggie and Mama, and I don't even know if we'll EVER get Nipsey, since she only shows up late at night.  Groan....Undecided
