I was a rat catcher for mummy's grandma for a few years. My exact birth and adoption date is unknown. Soon, grandma died and mummy brought my home with her when she was 6 years-old!. I've been her cat through thick and thin: giving her love when she was sad, cuddling when she didn't want me too, sleep on laptops! I was a great kitty. Mummy loved me very much. Last year, I stopped eating and got really sick with renal failure. It was pretty advanced and there wasn't really a treatment for me. I was also really anemic from fleas; mummy couldn't get rid of them! They gave my fluids everyday with a needle... I didn't like it very much, but I felt better after. I made some close recoveries until one day, I couldn't even walk anymore. Mummy tried her hardest to make me eat by giving me tuna or something I could try to eat; I couldn't chew much anymore. So her dad put me in a carrier and out in the warm sun for a day. That day was also the day I died. Mummy wanted me to go on my own, but I was stubborn. I needed to live for mummy! She needed me! But she was unselfish and took me to the vet to be put down. She let me lay in the grass before we went. I used to love running outside and catching birds in the winter when it snowed. It was a nice last day. I had left my body, which was still holding on. They carried me there in a blanket. Th whole time I could hear mum crying; she would miss me so much, but the pain needed to go. Now I've passed the Rainbow Bridge. I enjoy running with the other kitties and my old buddy, Blackie, who died much earlier than me. I miss mum very much and I know she misses me. But I watch her everyday and thank her for letting me be free.
