I'm related to Nana and tiggr68.  Ben is my pet.  I came to live with him about 3yrs ago.  A boy was carrying me around trying to find a home for me.  He asked Ben if he wanted me and he said Yes!!!!  I have been here ever since.  I am a very vocal boy that loves lots of attention.  I love to take naps, look out the window, and play with my housemates at times.  I also do this thing--I sit up on my hind legs and hold my paws in front of me (you just have to see it).  Nana says I look like a gopher kitty!  I think I look like me, but it pleases her to see me do it.  I am just glad to be here!

HI! I'm Sadie. I saw my human outside one day and just followed him home. I have lived here ever since. I am a petite tuxedo. I love being loved on. Some say that I am kinda pushy when I want affection. I prefer to call it being assertive! I mean, girls should get what they want anyway right?

Hi I am Salem!  I am black and white and sort of a big boy.  I came to live here about 3yrs ago.  I belonged to a family member that went out of town for awhile and I just never went back home.   My special thing is that I am a polydactyl.  I have an extra digit on each paw.  My pet ,Ben, has to check my paws to make sure the fur doesn't grow over my extra claws sometimes.  I think this is cool because I use my front paws like hands. I can scoop up food, water, and  treats.   My housemates are  so jealous!

Hi!  I'm Wingnut!  My Daddy human named me that because I can act a little crazy sometimes.  I have an unusually long tail and it gets on my nerves sometimes, so I growl and bite at it.  It hasn't gotten the message though, because it's as long as ever.  I actually belong to tiggr68's boyfriend but I have lived with her so long that she thought I should have a place on MCS too.  Her page is full so she put me on her son's page (They do call her the crazy cat lady).  Anyway, I came to live with her about 2yrs ago.  As it turns out, I am allergic to fleas.  My hair almost all fell out, I had scratched sores all over me, and I had lost alot of weight!  I was miserable to say the least.  My human Daddy took me to the vet several times.  They gave me steroid shots, antibiotics, changed my food several times and nothing worked.  My Daddy finally brought me to my home where I am living now.  My adopted mommy is  a nurse and very familiar with caring for kitties.  She gave me antibiotics, anti-itch pills, and Omega-3 capsules (fish oil, the kind for cats).  I, as well as my house mates, get advantage monthly, a good diet, and tons of love.  Even though our house is full of the furry kind, we have no fleas at all (Moms good)!  So with no fleas and good care, I am fully recovered!  You can see from my pictures that I am healthy and happy again.  My Daddy leaves me here because now I am used to all of the company-lots of kitties to play with.  He works for the railroad so he is gone alot :( .  He doesn't want to leave me alone with no care and my allergies.  He has other animals and though he treats them, he doesn't want to take the chance of exposing me to fleas.  He was afraid that when I was so sick that  I might die.  Anyway, that's my story.  Mommy's got treats-gotta go!

Chopper was a very good dog.  He loved to play with the cats and get under your feet.  He contracted parvo and although everything was done to save him, he was just too young to make it.  He put up a hard fight .  He didn't want to go and leave his family but God decided that Chopper needed to go home.  He was very sick and in pain and at least he is not suffering anymore.  We couldn't ask for a better guardian angel.  I was with him til the end and  hope I was at least some comfort to him.  We  will miss him very much!
