Hello there. I think it's about time the cats in this house get a page online. That pesky dog Bella get's all the reviews. She's not as cute as she looks. She's always getting on my nerves. I like it when she sleeps..I get some piece and quiet. Here I thought Nino was a pest. Well, he still is but at least he doesn't try chasing me all over the house. These old bones of mine are slowing me down. I just want to be left alone. But I do like to cuddle! I was first so move over!

I got diabetes about two years ago and get stuck with a needle twice a day. I live with it. At least I look and feel better. I think I am mom's favorite. She spends so much time on me and cuddles and hugs me every time she picks me up to carry me downstairs to be fed (and stuck with the needle). I play that game every night when she calls me. Deaf. So she hunts for me instead of the other way around. "I wasn't much of a hunter, I am told". So I get cuddled and carried before fed and sticked. Oh, I hear her, I just want her to pick me up. Well, they call me "old timer" so I might as well let them.

Gato crossed over to rainbow bridge at 1pm. He was suffering from labored breathing, his heart was totally surrounded by fluids and we determined he had a tumor in his heart. He lived a long life and in cat years that would easliy be 100. Surgery at this time would be just as deadly so we said our tearful goodbyes at the vet. Even in his pain he purred with affection. We took him home to rest by Duchess (our boxer who died of cancer a few years ago). Nino has been missing him so we are cuddling him with comfort. He will be surely missed. Mom is happy to have found him playing on a video for Fling-ama-String today. That put a smile on her face.

Everyone thinks I have a gender issue. Hey, I just think I'm hot. Mom says I'd make a beautiful girl. Heck they named me Nina when I came home. They think I don't know this. Everytime they put my old collar on...too cheap to redo the tag that says 'Nina'...I rip it off! Ha!

I'm a manly, man! I am buff, I strut, I'm sexy! And if they let me out more often I'd get all the babes. But no, I got Gato...fat cat...rolly polly, lazy butt who won't play anymore. Oh, well...I suppose I'd get there too some day. But now, I just want to do what I want to do...like chew on Jessi's (my "little" sister since I have a "big sister" too, humans though, darn) hair. I chew on just about anything that gets in my way. Doll hair, horse tails, fluffy pencil tips, balloon ribbons, easter grass, my own furballs...you name it. Fun, fun, fun.

Mom says I'm a rat nest. Yeah. It's not easy being sexy. All this beautiful hair and I just can't reach it anymore. Ok, I'd rather play then clean myself. But hey I'm still sexy!

Oh, well...off to attacking Gato (my sensei) or ... chew something.

Hello. My name is Daisy. I was adopted since my first mom wanted a good home for me but couldn't keep me. I lived with my two younger sisters then but now I have a brother Nino and two dogs and a guinea I live with. This family is much bigger but they accepted me and love me already. Dad didn't take to me right away but he is trying to bond. He's more of a dog person. Mom is more of a cat person but loves everyone! Just like Jess. She didn't take to me as I didn't take to her right away. She tried to brush me and cuddle me right away but I was scared and I told her so but she wasn't too happy with me then. Well, I'm sorry but I didn't know what was happening even though mom tried to get me to be comfortable. I soon found my favorite places and am prowling the downstairs. Cat haven. We live with Issy the guinea who is colored just like me! Calico. I think mom likes that! Everyone says I'm pretty and cute.

Nino likes to sniff me and try to get close to me. He's alright but I like my space so I tell him so. Who knows but ok, we'll be friends, someday. Right now I like my space. Actually I've always liked my space. My previous mom called me aloof. She's right. But don't think I don't like a good petting or body rub. Oh, and catnip is just so good. Oooh!

I love mom now, cause she let me be and gave me time and gave me catnip!

I was abandoned yet got rescued by my new family to help me find a good home. Well, they fell in love and couldn't give me away. So now I join the home with Nino and Daisy. They are both much older than me so don't play much, unless I can help it. Nino sure still knows how to put up a fight. It's all in fun though. I'm gonna keep him young longer, just like he did for Gato who lived to 16.5 yrs! I'm reminding him of how he was 9 yrs ago. lol

Daisy likes to keep to herself so we keep our space. I don't mind, this way I get Nino to myself!

The dogs on the other hand. Ha! Bella is not so scary...she leaves me very well alone. lol But Murphy, he's young so he and I like to tease each other just enough while the humans keep an eye on us. I've got claws so I can be scary. Ask Bella. lol

Well, I'm having a good life here in my new home...othewise known as a zoo with the almost forgotten Isabella Foofoo. She's a guinea pig and furry and cute and I'd love to play with her but the family won't let me.

Oh, well. I've got much to do here. Spoiled with my own room (my offical parent is Vincent) own litter box and food space. Yes! But I do get to roam and play. Well back to my room for a good stretch and scratch. Later!
