My name is Salem but no one ever calls me that!  It is always Mr. Kitty and that is the only thing I will answer to.  I had a great life for about 9 months before my mom brought in this lil brat she calls Heidi.  It took a while but I finally let her into my heart  Then , recently, she brought in this wild young buck by the name of Tigger!  He wears me out on an hourly basis and chases poor lil Heidi endlessly!  Hopefully the kid will settle down soon or we are going to have to sit down and have a little man to man chat!  Anyway, I am a pretty affectionate lil guy and spoiled to the core!  The only toy I love to play with is a laser light...I find the other toys to be a little on the boring side.  I got really sick very unexpectedly after my mom had only had me for 4 days and the docs said that I was a lil miracle because they hadn't thought I would pull through so I hold a VERY special place in my mom's heart   Anyhoo, please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I continue to deal with Tigger on a daily basis.  He is even harrassing me right at this very moment!  GEEZ!!!

My name is Heidi and I have been told that I do not have a mean bone in my body   I do not really like to be picked up and held but I tolerate it...may as well because it isn't going to stop!  I do like to sneak up on my mom in the middle of the night and cuddle up beside her in the bed.  This is my fave place in the world to be.  I have hypertrophic cardiomyopathy so I have to take heart medicine and blood pressure medicine everyday!  I can't help it if I have a big heart in every way imaginable!  When I first came to live here, Mr. Kitty did not like me but I soon won him over by just cuddling up next to him and cleaning his head and ears!  How could he resist?  We both agree on the Tigger situation.  I cannot get a moment's peace from this rambunctious kid!  I think he wants to play but he plays ROUGH!  He even figured out how to get on top of the kitchen cabinets which was my only escape from him!  Now I have no place to go!  I sure hope he settles down as he gets older..after all, he is still practically a kitten.  Mr. K has even gone back to standing over top of me trying to establish his dominance over someone in the house!  Give me a break, guys!  If it wasn't for my mom coming to my rescue I don't know what I would do!
