Scarlets bringing Scarlett out
Well, Scarlett has been having ear trouble since I adopted her in January. We call her the Big Mama in the family because she is moody and will set the kittens straight if she is irritated. But she can be loveable when she rolls herself around when I sweet talk her.
Well, recently I got some good meds from the vet for her ears and come to find out she has been miss diagnosed in the past for ear mites when she has a bacterial infection in her ears.
This medicine not only cleared her ears up but revealed a new scarlett that I have never seen. She is so happy now. She plays she talks she rolls around she jumps on the bed and talks to me and she is so lovable. Don't get me wrong she still has her moments but I felt so bad that this whole time she has been under the weather and I wasnt treating her with the right stuff. She is so good about the ear drops, its like she knows it helps her. I love Scarlett so much she is my first cat and she is forever gonna have a special place in my heart. I am so glad she is feeling better and is renewed.
Scarletts under the weather
Scarlett has a bad case of ear mites. She had them when I first adopted her and either the meds never fully took the mites away or she got them again. So she is back on meds and I wish she would feel better over night the poor girl is shaking her ears like crazy. I wonder how long it will take to get rid of them. I noticed Suki might have them too so I am now treating both of them. I hate that my babies arent feeling good. I noticed Scar had a slight temp the other day but she seems a little better today so i think the ear drops are doing there thing. If it persists I will have to take Scar to the vet for a checkup and make sure thats all that going on.
Sisters
Suki and Beauty are inseparable now. Beauty is growing so much and she is so loveable, she cups my face and kisses me everyday. I hope that never changes. I plan on adding more pictures today at some point. And Beauty is parasite free. Scarlett has mites in her ears again so I have meds on the way for that but otherwise all is good in the household. Beauty uses the big cat litter box now and she has got the house down and we never had to worry about an accident, she is one smart kitty.
Beautys test results in
She has Coccida, which is fairly common in young cats or dogs. It explains the diareah problems. She has to take Albon for 11 days and then go back to the vet for a check up to make sure the parisites are no longer in her intestines.
I look forward to her having a painless bm. The poor girl gets messy too, I literally wipe her like a baby. She lays on her back and purrs as i clean her up. She is so precious. I love her so much.
Beauty dairy air problem
Well since Beauty has started her life in her new home she has suffered with the poots. In other words she has diarhea. I called the rescue group and they said it could be stress to a new home, the change of food, or parisites that are brought on by stress. Well I gave it a few days to see if there would be any changes and she still has the poots.
She acts like a healthy kitten...running around playing talking eating, the whole bit but she should not be having the poots soo bad.
So tomorow I am calling the vet to see her and bringing a sample for them to diagnose the issue.

Beautys first night home
Well we were off to a rough start because she has already been weened and she didnt care for the wet food I bought her however I did have dry food so tried that and she started choking on it and I had to sweep her mouth to get it out. It scared me so bad, so I moistened the dry food with water and she loves it. she is scarfing food. However she waits for me to check on her to eat. Even to use the litterbox she waits for me to visit and then does the deed. She is so cute. She has taken with my fiance, when he holds her she sleeps in his arms and if we get to talking she will wake out of a sound sleep and meow at him like he was to loud and then seconds later pass out again. LOL. She has a spare bedroom set up for her and she actually prefers sleping on the bed. I have a heated cat bed and her carrier with towels wrapped in it , but of cousre she has found her spot elsewhere. hehe. Its funny because all we see is long legs and big feet, which tells us she has alot of growing to do. When Suki was a kitten she was short and stubby because she is Munckin so to me Beauty looks huge. lol. She has 6 toes in the front only. In fact I think the whole litter of kittens did. The mama kitty has 6 toes front and back.
I bring her out to play for a little while and then put her back in the room because she is so young and sleeps alot. She cries maybe 5 mins and then its quiet. I wish I had a peep hole to the room so I could check on her without waking her.
We are very happy and pray she grows to be a healthy cat.
Beauty has arrived!!
She was delivered by the rescue group 4 PAWS today at 12:30 and I finally took my bundle of joy home. She had a rough start because she threw up in the carrier but I knew she would be scared. I took her in the spare room where everything is set up for her and within minutes she was purring and playing. I have a heated cat bed for her and when I knew she was sleepy I set her in there to rest for a little while. I have pic posted. She looks nothing like her mom Bright Eyes but I am thankful I was able to take a piece of Bright Eyes with me. Bright Eyes will be up for adoption by the rescue group in 2 weeks. All the other babies have homes to go to already so I am truly happy. It just worked out the best for all the kittys in the end. If I would have let them go outside I know they would be gone for good.
Anywoo share my happiness friends. I am on cloud nine.

She is 5 weeks old and already weening so I am looking to get her this weekend! I will post pictures as soon as possible.
Beauty is growing!
I talked with the lady that has my future kitten and she said that Beautys eyes are now open and she is doing well. August 7th she will be 3 weeks old. I am hoping she will be weened in the next 2 to 3 weeks.
As soon as we get her we will get pics posted.
I just wanted to give you all an update.
Oh and Bright Eyes is doing great and she will definitly find a good home, there are people already interested in her. :)
Update on Bright Eyes and Babies
I called the Lady that took in Bright Eyes and the babies and they are all doing great. She suspects the babies will be on wet food sooner than 6 weeks because they are growing so big! :)
She has 7 cats of her own plus mine and then found 2 at a store starving that she took in tonight and then a lady called with another litter of 2 cats with the mama she is going to take in. GOD BLESS PEOPLE LIKE HER.
She has a large yard for the cats to roam and Bright Eyes loves it. She plays outside and then goes in to feed the babies.
She told me one of the kittens a friends of hers wants already and she said she might keep Bright Eyes if she cant find a home.
I am so thankful that I found her. She is an angel to all those kittys that need a home.
I can't wait to see my new baby!
I am going to name her Beauty for her markings...
