I was looking for a cat to share my home with, and found October at a shelter in a town close to mine.  She had just come in that day.  She was very ill with worms and needed some tender loving care.  She was very sick for over a month, but then recouped very well. 

She is the sweetest kitty.  She very loveable and loves to sleep under the covers with me at night.  She is a playful little sweety and loves to look outside the windows.  She is an indoor cat for the most part, but I do put her on a harness and walk her in my back yard. 

She talks to me all the time, and seems to understand many words, such as I love you, how's my baby girl, toy and treats.  You say the word treat, and she runs, not walks, runs to her bowl.  She also loves to play soccer with her food.

October is very loved and is like a child to me.
