My Blog
Not Thrilled
Ok so now the hooman moms have determined that we need our ears cleaned...something about some terrible disease called earmites. We tolerate but do not like the treatment. Mom Laura puts these drops in our ears that tickles and then they laugh at us cause our ears stick straight out from our heads. They say we look like multicolored Yodas. We don't know if this is a good thing or not. Probably not considering they are laughing at us.
Neeko is coming in every once in a while and he is becoming easier to get along with. I still swat him because I can but he is ok. I still refuse to let the hooman know I am ok with him. Like at night if he sleeps in here with us I will curl up with him oon the bed. Brock and Misty really don't have a problem with him but I pretend I do.
The weather is getting colder than it was in Flroida but we don't mind it. We still all sit up in the window and the lunch critters are running around all the time so we watch them a lot. The moms say the chipmunks and squirrels are collecting for the winter and they are going to get some food for them so when they are having a hard time they will not go hungry. If they were in our tummy's they would not go hungry too.
If they would just let us go out we could take care of the little guys.
The Life
We were lookin at Neekos page and feling a bit put out by the fact that he has taken the time to put down HIS feelings about our little "adventure" in moving. If we remember correctly HE had freedom to roam around on a leash when we stopped along the way...although we did get free run of the motel room that we stayed at. The hoomans talked to us a lot cause we weren't real happy about being stuck in the carriers all that time and Brock took revenge by shifting his weight whenever Dustin would fall asleep to fall on him...carrier and all. We all have to agree that it was a very cramped trip. There isn't a lot of room in a honda for 3 cats, 3 hoomans and a dog plus all the stuff that came with us. The mom hooman says they have to go back in a couple of months to get the rest of our stuff...we don't have to go on that one. We are going to stay with the Bob hooman when they go...we like that idea. The Bob hooman is very nice and feeds us special treats.
We now get free run of the master bedroom cause Brock is afraid of the "outside". Misty and me stay in here with him cause we don't want him to feel bad about his phobia. Sometime I sneak out to see what the others are doing and sometimes Ciara opens the door and then runs away. She stays out in the "outside" with Neeko, Lady and the Bob hooman. We like it here mom and mom Patty open the window so we can look out at the trees and watch the little furry striped mice. Mom Laura says they are called chipmunks...we say they are lunch if we can figure out how to get to them.
Anyway here we are in the mountains. The moms keep talking about snow and that we won't like it cause Brock Misty and I are all Florida cats. I don't know what snow is but mom Laura seems to be excited about it. They say they have to be careful with walking Neeko in it cause he will get lost in it. Hmmmmmm that doesn't sound like bad stuff snow!
