Holden is a very calm fellow, the most laid-back cat I have ever met. He gets along with EVERYONE!!! There isn't anyone he has met that he hasn't tried to be friends with. When I lived with my mom, I found Velouria Velveteen, and a few years later, we found Holden, Velouria tried to hurt Holden too many times, so he lived in my bedroom with me, and she and the other cat's had the run of the house. Holden was very reserved at this time, it wasn't until I moved out on my own and took him alone with me that I saw the real Holden. When I rescued him, they called him Spazz. He is definitely NOT a Spazz. Holden is the most loving boy! He grooms me when I fall asleep, he likes to sleep with me, on me or right next to me, but he always has to be touching me. When we moved in with my fiance' they took to eachother immediately, and Holdy had the run of the apartment. He lived by himself with us for 2 yrs until I rescued his brother/inmate Rusty Rustoleum (on mydogspace.com) Holden used to defend his birth brother and himself from the two white german shepard mixes that my acquaintance's owned at the time. His brother didn't seem to mind being terrorized by these dogs, but Holden with his super kitten powers would wedge himself and his brother between the couch cushions and all we would see is a tiny paw come out and start a-swattin' at the dogs. Holden is a lap cat, he loves to be brushed. He gets groomed every 2 months, and gets his lion cut. The lion cut has really brought out his personality, he is awesome not unlike the king of the jungle! He seems to really like his hairs cut, not the bath so much, but he does seem to prance around after his bath and groom. Or maybe he's just happy to be home?
