Phoenix came over and spent 4th of July weekend with us! It was good to see him again. He's gotten very big and a lot less fluffy. His mom picked him up this afternoon. Now we won't see him again until the mysterious trip Mom keeps talking about in 2 weeks... something about being fixed? Are we broken? I don't know, but she won't talk about it much. I guess we'll find out...

Aremis: I miss Phoenix. Kaos doesn't play rough enough and Athos is way too big- he wins every time! Mom says Phoenix is coming back next month to visit for a weekend- I can't wait!
Athos: Life here is good. Mom keeps telling me how big I'm getting. I get to eat as much food as I want too!
D'artagnon: I REALLY hope she's done bringing kittens home now...

Aremis: So we pretty much have the run of the house now. We stay upstairs with Grandma during the day while Mom is working, and at night we run the basement. Tomorrow we're going to see Dr. Walker again- she won't believe how big we got! And I get to see Phoenix again, because he left last week to his new mom, and I miss him. He's coming to stay with us for July 4th too!
Chaos: I got renamed again. Mom and Miss Angel just can't decide on a good one for me. So far we've gone through Ozzy, Nitro, Blacky, and a few others, and now it's Chaos. Things are going pretty good. I'm not sure about this Dr. Walker person, I've never met her before. I'm glad there's just one of the big boys left though, because they're growing much faster than me!
D'artagnon: I hate kittens.

Aremis: We outgrew the playpen already! Now Mom has us locked in her bedroom, but we get free run of the WHOLE ROOM!! It's so awesome! We have a ton of room to play, even more new toys, a big bed to climb on and hide under, and 2 dogs to play with all the time!! We love it!! We've also given up the bottle for good- now we can eat canned AND dry food and drink water all by ourselves!
Phoenix: My new Mom came to see me tonight. She visits a lot more now. I've met Dad once or twice too. Miss Angel says I can go home with them on May 31st. I'll be almost 9 weeks old and I'll have been to the vet for my shots. She keeps talking about us getting "neutered" too... I'm not sure what that's about yet, but she says it very quiet when we're around, so I don't think it's a good thing.
Nitro: I got to graduate with the big boys this time! I was only in the playpen for 1 week, but they let me go straight to the bedroom with Aremis and Phoenix instead of being by myself again. I'm learning how to eat dry food, but the canned food doesn't smell good to me, and I do still like a bottle from time to time. I use the kittybox very well now though, so Miss Angel and Mom say that's good enough.
D'artagnon: Those little buggers are in my basement now. Crap.

Mom moved my catbox on me. I'm a little agitated. She hid it in a spare room out of the way, and it's behind the baby gate with my food. Which means even more jumping to get to my stuff. Just because that stupid puppy always tries to get into my things. Well, and the litter all over the bathroom floor every morning probably contributed too.
I haven't seen the kittens much, Mom and Grandma have been keeping them upstairs lately. I have a sneaking suspicion that little gray puffball will be running around harrassing me soon. He's looking awfully steady on his feet lately. Drat...

We've now gone 2 whole days using the kitty box by ourselves! Mommy is very proud of us. I've even started nibbling on some canned kitten food between meals! Phoenix refuses to try it though, he's no fun. We like the playpen, it's fun to run back and forth and tackle our toys (and each other). The dogs like to come up and sniff at us too. I can't wait until we're big enough to get out and chase them! Nitro is still in his nursery. I heard Mom say he's got another week before he can come play with us again. He's no fun anyway, he just sleeps all the time.

Good news! Today Phoenix and I graduated from our nursery box to our very own playpen! Now we've got a litter box (we don't really know what that's for yet, but it's neat looking), a bed, lots of toys, and room to run! We're having so much fun romping around. Nitro didn't come with us, Mommy said he's still too little to be out of the nursery. Plus we kind of bully him sometimes 
so I guess it's safer for him to stay in there alone now. He's pretty little compared to us; we're big for our age!
