When my girlfriend and I decided to live together, I could finaly get my own litten kitten (I couldn't get one when I lived at my parents because my mom is afraid of cats). The sister of my girlfriend found a place where they had a liter of 5 little kittens to pick up. 2 grey, 2 red and 1 beige. We went over there to see them and when I saw the little red dude I was in love. Of course the others where adorable too but I prefered the red one. After a month we picked him up and brought him to our new home.

I named him Garfield because he is red of course :p and because I think it's a suitable name for him.

He has much grown since then. Now he's a little adolescent that loves to do everything he isn't allowed to. He's been neutered a week ago, and therefor is allowed to go outside whenever he wants, with the exception of nighttime. We made the rule that when it gets dark he stays inside. But he doesn't seem to mind that much.

Garfield loves to play. He's got a big play tower, a little sleeping box, a scratch pole and a beautiful soft petblanket, to play and sleep. Besides that, he has a lot of other toys: mice, balls with bells in them, a little device that has a fluffy thingy on it that when it's switched on it goes round and round so Garfield can chace it. So as you see Garfield is spoiled!!

Garfield loves to wake us up in the morning. We open the door and get back in bed and he comes to us, jumps on bed and pushes his nose against ours until we hug and cuddle him. He also loves to go outside and his favourite sleeping place is on the chair, on his blanked or in his sleeping boxes.

Garfield also loves to do that what he may not do. Scratch, bite, go where he isn't allowed (in the bunny place) or eat ladybugs (our house is full of them). From there his motto: "the world is mine" because he does whatever he wants and he pretend like everything belongs to him.

He loves his compagnons, and usually behaves as the oldest kitty, cleaning his cat friends.

Basthet was taken from a animal shelter last sunday (07/09/2008), she is estimated to be aproximatly 6 months old.

She has a coat of ashes and gold, she is like a little egyptian statue, very full of temper and love, even if she has the sneeze illness.

Garfield likes her very much, they enjoy purchasing each other and play, Garfield needs to learn to not overdo it though, he tends to be too brutal.

When you call her, she comes running.

Her past is quite a mistery, we don't know exactly where she is from and how her life was, all we know is that she has now found a home and love, a roof above her head and food, for the rest of her life.

Unfortunatly she did not stay with us for a very long time.. we miss her terribly and hope she's happy where she is now, without pain and that we''ll see her again some day..

We were just done doing grocerees when we saw an add with a picture of kittens who were looking for a home, we were very tempted and so we called, and they said they had two kittens left, both white, one a girl the other one a boy, people were going to pick on of them up, we thought they were probably going to take the female, and we're just as happy with a little boy :)

We hope Garfield and Neo will become good friends, and there will be more to come here once we had the time to get to know him better, he is very tired and confused right now, missing his mommy and overwhelmed by the new environement. He is sleeping in the box of the cat tower now and we hope he will feel at home here very soon!

Neo has only been with us a few days so far, but he has already befriended Garfield! They love to chase after each other and play, sometimes Garfield is a bit too wild though, like usual.

He has already a few favourite places to sleep and enjoys playing with the toys. He's very fond of cat milk and is a good eater. He likes to watch television sometimes, and enjoys to be pet, then he starts to purr loudly. He does not enjoy being picked up though or being transported much, and kisses scare him a little, he still needs to get to know us, but he seems to be a clever, strongwilled little ball of energy!

Neo has been with us now for some time. And he brings a lot of joy into the house and he's a lot of joy for Garfield.

But we can't denie the fact that he is a milk junkie. He constantly miauws in the kitchin for his little bowl filled with milk. He keeps asking and asking for it.

Neo is without a doubt a MILK JUNKIE!!!

Neo has been for over a year with us, he still loves Garfield and has now a little girly friend aswel, Neo gets cleaned by Garfield who cleans both other cats, and Neo often cleans Liry aswel.

He's a tiny bit neurotic, quickly scared and afraid and has some tics, like throwing the water out of the drinking tower and often throwing around the tower itself aswel.

They still enjoy amusing themselves with their toys and with things that are not toys.
