Hi, I should be called Mr. Travelling Cat because I am a well travelled cat.  I was born in Louisana and was given as a birthday present to my first owner.  She was a university student and just didn't have the time to spend with me, so like many a pet, I became her Mom's new baby.  I was still quite a young fellow and Mom's first pet ever and every few days I was given a bath and sprayed with baby powder conditioner.  Yes, I know I looked and smelled good, but heck I sure didn't enjoy it one bit.  When I was about 1 year old, my Mommy had to find me a new home, she didn't want to give me up but sometimes life throws you a curve and you just have to go with it.  So........she gave me to her friend.  Well I definately had an interesting life there, for the first few years I shared the house with an elderly terrier named Tess.  She didn't like me at first, but when Mom went to work I would snuggle into Tess' basket with her.  After we lost Tess, my Mom became a foster dog Mom and you can only imagine what I had to put up with.  But all in all, I'm a live and let live kind of fellow so I got along pretty well with the parade of dogs.  Eventually, Mom decided to keep one of the foster dogs and despite being the smallest of all the dogs that passed through our home, she definately was the bossiest too!  Well Mommy really was more of a dog person, but she didn't want to give me up to anyone that wouldn't just love me to death, then one day she invited her new friend over and low and behold it was Love at First Sight.  I went for a trial run and I was just the best kitty you could imagine, didn't even bother that wannabe cat (Netherland Dwarf Rabbit).  Well, you guessed it, I got myself a new Mommy and my first ever Daddy.  (Pays to be on your best behaviour.)  Now I get to eat without being pounced upon by the dog and sleep curled up to my New Mommy and New Daddy.  Yes, Life Truly is Grand!
