A new pup in MY HOUSE!!!
When mom and pop agreed to baby sit a pup of a friend I have to admit I thought, "Oh, POOP!" Winds up LADY IS A GOD SEND and is here to stay!! Mind you, I love Gracie but, quite frankly, she drove me nuts!!!! I love snugglin' with her but playin'- com' on!!!!! I'm 13!...and a cat!!!! Since Lady came along, I'm on top of the world. I sit with mom or popr or just up high and so enjoy watching Gracie and Lady play and tackle one another and so thank God that I'm not in the mix. In my younger days, watch out!!! they would be wall paper paste!!! I have to admit I love both my canine sisters. I snuggle with them in bed late at night and still rule the roost in mom's lap while watching TV, at the computer (like now!) and in bed at night. I've even developed a niche with my pop on the week-ends when the pups sleep in with mom... suckers, pop gives me WEEK-END SNACKS!!! HaHaHa! Have to admit- a new pup is enhancing my senior years. My dad says....
My dad says that it is apparent that Snoopy's spirit has intigrated with my own. He says that I have somehow become the alpha is my house over my sista dogs. I'm not so sure. I was always shy around people but have learned to come out of my shell since my mom met my pop a few years ago. Dad says since Snoopy passed that I am now the cat to reckoned with. He says that although I'm still mom's lil' cuddle bug that I've become a hard ass to be dealt with- that was always Snoopy's roll. She was the Queen of the Homeland and I never questioned that. I still respect her and her spaces but I'll be damned if I'll let those dogs take over! I WILL hold my ground, I WILL show those dogs just where they belong, I WILL.....Oh Sh.......! I DO sound like Snoopy!----Peace to you Sista!
