I love and miss you Vaga!
Our newest and possibly oldest addition, Vaga! (We have three dogs too!) Vaga came to us
as a stray in NC. He was looking for a place to sleep,
food, and water. I was happy to give it to him. It was winter so he was
miserable. As time went on I couldn't stand him being outside, he was
skin, bones, and organs. Nothing else! So, I put our Vagabond in the
garage, got him de-wormed, de-flea'd, and let him in the house. Come to
find out he is diabetic, arthritic, heart issues, high blood pressure,
and all around sick! LOL Needless to say it took months and he went
from 6lbs to who knows what, he is a big boy now! He is the sweetest
most loving little boy! His only fault...he never shuts up! A wonderful addition to the family we will never regret!

Now she is our newest member. She has lived her life, since 6 weeks of age, in a shelter. Most of her time in a kennel. A large one, but a kennel none-the-less. From the day I saw her when we moved here about 5 years ago I knew we were destined to be together. The person who ran the shelter wasn't sure about military folk adopting her animals. This is a military town and she has a lot of people adopt then bring back because of deployments. It took me 5 years to convince her Jazmine would be loved and cared for the rest of her life. She is like a kitten in her new world, full of life and joy. She loves to play with toys and pounce on me while I'm sleeping. She is the most wonderful soul. I'm lucky to have her in my life.

We had little ice storm last night. Didn't lose power which is good (seem to be 1st house on block that does). Kids got to stay home so got extra attention today (yea me). I stuck nose out one time today and change mind and ran upstairs to my blankets. Doggies (mostly Kenzie) wouldn't let me see mom today. Mom says Santa will bring her coal this year (she'll try to eat that though). Take care and Stay warm xoxo Snowball
