Hi, my name is Shorty and I am King of my owner's home. My mom brought me home when I was teeny tiny. She says that my real mom left me on the front porch with my 2 sisters when I was only a few days old and wouldn't come back to get us or feed us.  We were bottle fed but that didn't work very well. We were so hungry! So, my dad caught my cat mom in a trap and locked us up with her in a real big cage so that she would have to nurse us, then they let our cat mom go when we got big enough to eat kitty food. I sure do love my mom and dad. They saved our lives. I love a lot of people since I was handled as a little kitten. I love taking naps, chasing chickens, sneaking outside to play, and going for car rides. My best friend is my sister, a dog named Ellie Mae. She just joined our family this year and has turned out to be a real fun playmate. We love to wrestle together. I can really whoop her tail!
