GREAT NEWS!!!

This morning at 8 a.m. we took Starr to the vet and this time we got to see a different doctor.

He was very kind and actually took the time to talk to us and explained everything that the other vet had not bothered to tell us.

Like the fact that Star might not have a tumor but maybe it was an ulcer under her tongue!

After all the heartache, worry and fear we have been through thinking our time was limited with this cat and we might very soon have to have her put down.

And living in the fear that the "tumor" might balloon up at any time and we might suddenly be faced with having to have her put down.

Now this vet tells us today that he saw in her file where the other vet had explained to us that they were not sure if she has a tumor or an ulcer and since the shot worked we could just keep getting that and if its an ulcer it should heal up over time.

THE OTHER VET DID NOT TELL US ANY OF THIS!!!

She let us walk out of that office in tears and left

usthinking for the last month that our cat was going to die because we could not afford $3000.00 worth of surgery for a tumor in her mouth and down her throat!

And even though we were at the same vet hospital, this visit cost less than the last one for the exact same services. Well except we were treated better and left feeling much better informed and with new hope in our hearts for our sweet girl.

Hi,

No and i wasnt aware that an allergy could cause that. But now that you have told me, i will add that to my list of questions for nrxt time we see the vet. We are going to make sure we get to see the GOOD vet from now on and i will go in armed with a list of questions for him.

Thank you for that bit of info. I will find out about that. If an allergy caused the problem maybe that will give us a very easy answer to the solution!

Thanks and BIG HUGS from STAR (and mama &daddy)Smile

wow! I'm glad you got some good news. I wonder if she could have an allergy causing the ulcer, did they say anything on how a cat gets an ulcer like that?
