Boo's Final Update

Thanks again for the support.  It pains me to announce that Boo has passed on this morning.  She was unable to eat and I did not want her to suffer any longer.  Her body had gotten so tiny.  I was able to be with her, and we comforted one another.  We had a good, long, heartfelt good-bye.

Boo Update

Thank you for your prayers and support.  You are all such wonderful friends!!  I just checked in with the Vet's office.  All the staff could really tell me is that she is still alive.  I spoke with the Veterinarian yesterday evening before they closed.  He advised me that her liver is completely failing- that's a big problem in itself depending on how much damage has been done.  A good note, she does not have Feline Leukemia.  On a bad note, they have not yet been able to find out the cause for her liver to rail.  They are thinking it may be an infection.  If this infection was caused by bacteria then they can fix her up.  If this infection was caused by a virus, then she will not survive.  So- I am just sitting and waiting for the Doc to call me with the news.  Thanks again, all of you! I'm remaining hopeful!!

URGENT NEWS

My precious little miss Boo has been rushed to the Vet.  She is very weak and her liver is failing.  We aren't sure what is wrong with her.  She is on an IV, as she cannot hold down any liquids/ foods.  My little baby has gotten very ill.  I haven't heard from the doc. yet, but once I do, I will update!  Please pray for her!!

I am thrilled to announce that I have decided to make Simon a part of my family.  He was the sickest kitten of the bunch and I could not bare to lose sight of him.  He is doing so well and having a blast here.  The whole family is adoring him!  Well- with the exception of Meeko who seems rather disgusted.  But he's been on good behavior.  So, please welcome baby Simon!  Check out his pics!  I have A TON of pics and some videos that I will be posting shortly.  They would already be up but I am having problems with my connection!

Sad Stuff

So- my friend's mom found an abandoned box of 11 kittens at  campsite.  Tragic that somebody would drop them like that.  :-(  Anyways- I have taken on the role of fostering them.  Many are awfully small and need to be bottle fed.  Poor li'l guys.  One is having to stay at the vet clinic until he is strong enough to be brought back home.  All have respiratory infections and some could not open their eyes due to such bad eye infections.  Now they are all getting healthy- no more gunky stuff- just bright little kitten eyes.  They are so adorable and I have already found homes for 5 of them.  Only 6 more to go!  They are such sweet little babies . . . Anyways - I will be posting up a profile for them sometime soon - as well as all of the cats I have helped nurture and find a home for.  I still consider them my babies. 

HOLIDAYS!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!! We hope you all had a Merry Cristmas! Mommy and StepDaddy got us lots of presents. We wanted to play with them before Christmas- but Mommy wouldn't let us. Boo's Bad Day

"Hello theres . . . I is Boo, and I haff had a bad week.. Yessums, bad week indeeders. As Mommy had posteeeed- I haff been at Gramma and Grampa's, instead of where we liffed with Meeko and Midder N. I were okay- but then I didn't see Mommy for a couple days. I missed hers, and she missed me. So- she call me hers li'l Tote Baby and take me with hers all the time- wherever. I didn't like goingks back to the apartment- Meeko wanted to play tooooo rough. So- wes went back to Gramma and Grampa's yes'erday. But- my cousin Morgan attackeeed me and I get kinda skeeeeered, so I runs up a tree. Well- Morgan went inside cryingks about it- and they all came lookingks for me too. But I was in this tree.. I was stuck!! Grampa was makingks me a ramp to get downs, but I eventually get unskeeered and climbs down on I's own before he get finished. Mommy felt bad about it, so hers huggled me for long times. Hers had to go to work at nigh'- so Gramma takeeeed mes in her room to snorgles close to her all nigh'.... Tankies for Grammas!! Tankies!!" ~ Boo "I play not too rough! Boo lies . . . I are gentle-giant with suaveness and elegance, you luff me now? I luff me! I gorgeous!" - Meeko Boo failed to mention that she beat up Morgan (my brother's feline) pretty good. When Morgan came inside a mess- we all thought Boo would have the worst of it. Just a tiny scratch on her back, but she was fine otherwise. Her spirits are back up and she is happy she got to spend the night wrapped in blankies with her Gramma. Meeko doesn't seem to miss her too much, he has Nero to play with. - Anna
