My boss's wife took a bunch of kittens home from a shelter because one was almost dead and they were too young to leave their mother.  They raised them until they could feed themselves.  My boss kept telling me about this cute little female who was always purring.  I had a 10 year old female and was hesitant but when I went to look at the kittens, this little orange & white kitten was too adorable to leave.  I took her home and Misty accepted her.  I called her Katie. A couple of months later, Katie starting growing "things" under her tail.  I found out "she" was a he so the name was quickly turned to Casey.  He has turned out to be a beautiful cat and now seems to be more my husband's cat than mine.  He has a harness and loves to go outside when the weather is nice.  He hunts birds and plays with squirrels.  It is quite amusing to watch. He tormented Misty a lot when he was a kitten but since reaching adulthood, he is better.  However, Misty regained some of her youth and she looks forward to wrestling with him daily.  He enjoys looking out the front window when not sleeping or playing outside.
