Hi, my name is Amai. My name means sweet in Japanese. I live in Los Angeles with my Mom and Dad.  I'm a polydactyl cat, which means I have an extra digit - I have thumbs.  I only like to do three things every day: sleep, play, and eat.  My parents go to work every day, and that's the time for me to sleep.  When they come home, I nornally will not have any rest because they take turns to bother me.  If you see my pictures and videos, especially the spider cat one, you will know what I mean.  Even though they behave that way, I still love them.  I was in a shelter, then a rescue group got me and showed me in a Petsmart.  My parents saw me, couldn't get my ultra cute face out of their minds and came back the next day to get me.  When I saw them walking down the aisle, I was so excited, I meowed a lot and put my paws on the window.  I was so happy!  That's why I love my collar (my cousins hate theirs and always take them off), it shows I have a forever home.  After I was adopted, my parents noticed a wound in the corner of my mouth.  The doctor did a biopsy ('cause actually there was a big hole in my mouth) and found out that I have esinophilic granuloma.  My parents have been working with my doctor to take good care of me and manage my outbreaks, so I'm doing pretty good.  I may not be able to answer email/post message often because my parents do not let me use the computer when they are busy. Bio by Oz (I'm the genius leader of the group).  We are Amai's cousins.   Zoe, Jan-Jan and I are sisters.  We were rescued from outside when we were kittens and our cat mommy got lost.  In fact, all of us were rescued from the outside, except for Timmy.  He was adopted from a rescue group at Centinela Pet Supplies.  I'm the smartest and always patrol the house.  If grandma has a problem, I get mommy to help her out.  I keep everyone in line, especially Timmy, with a few whacks on the head.  Zoe is the most social sister and is an amazing bug hunter.  She loves to be petted and she's a total Daddy's girl.  Jan-Jan is more aloof and only likes to cuddle with mommy.  Timmy is handsome, but clueless.  He likes to roll around on fresh bedsheets.  He's kind of a loner.  Marty, Sydney and Dinky are brothers and sister (they're the gangsters).  Marty's nickname is Marty-bear because he's so big.  He's cuddly and mommy likes to squish him a lot.  Sydney has a foot fetish and loves snacks - he's the first to arrive and the last to leave.  Dinky is the petite sister, but she eats like a horse.  She stole grandma's chicken drumstick from her plate one time.  Choco-cat is a character.  She's really smart (but still not in my league) and loves to get her butt shaked and face scushed.  She loves to chase stuff and runs around like a crazy.  Jo-Jo is quiet and like to cuddle and play.  She lost her brother and her mama likes being an outdoor cat, but she still gets to visit with her occasionally.  Horatio is a cuddly butt and is the youngest one.  Oren is very shy and spent a long time under the bed, but now she's getting out of her shell a little.  She won't come near strangers unless they have snacks, then she's your best friend and will stay around until there's nothing left.  We all love to play like crazy and scratch up everything.  Snack time is the best time.
