I came into my owner's life on the same day her oldest cat (who was 11 years old) died.  My owner was told by one of the staff members at the animal shelter that I was a little fiesty, and I still am.  Even at 5 years old, I still like to play; but there's nothing I like better than to be washed by my housemate (whose name is Mittens).

I was found on Military St. in Houlton, Me. in March of 2001.  I left the shelter 2 or 3 weeks later (in April of 2001) to be adopted by my owner's grandmother (who had an interest in having a cat).  I stayed with my owner's grandmother for about 10 days before she had to go into the hospital with pneumonia.  I moved in with my current owner the day after her grandmother was hospitalized, but I was only supposed to be with her temporarily.  I ended up staying with her longer because her grandmother had to stay in a boarding home and the boarding home would not let her have cats there except on visits.  By August of 2001, the stay ended up being permanent because my owner's grandmother had a stroke and later died.  I still live with my current owner to this day.
