I'm going to be getting two kittens soon, a brother and sister. I've had cats in the past but they've always been rescue cats and have been 2+ years old when we got them. So I was just wondering, when do I get booster shots for them (they are 7 weeks old and will be indoor cats) and when are they to be spayed and nuetered? Also, how much do these costs run? And how do you find a good vet?

I adopted a kitten at about 8 weeks old - something like that.  He had just been fixed - it's the policy of the NYC shelters to fix them before they can be adopted.  @ 6 months old is when you should get the rabies vaccine.  We took them to the Humane Society for shots where they are much more affordable around $15 a shot.  Finding a good vet is like finding a good Internest, ask your other cat pals who they see.
