We are working on improving the site and serve the community. So would like some inputs from our community :) i) What do you like best about the site ii) What feature on the site that you rarely use (if its gone, you don’t care) or something that really bugs you (that Mycatspace can control) iii) What do you want from the site that we are not providing Meow!

You are doing a fantastic job. The only thing that would be cool, if at all possible, is someway to have better communication within the stream. For example, I need to meow my cat pal directly to ask a question. If I ask a general question it can be lost if there is a lot of activity. I would like to send mass questions or greetings to groupings of my catpals. I know that was what FORUM is supposed to do...however, like I said, if kitties are chatty a forum entry on the home page will soon be passed by. I apologize if this feature is available. I haven't seen it. (ie. not really private chat rooms but something everyone can see. And the target recieves) That would be puuuurrrrffect!

i)I love how easy it is to change colors and backgrounds. iii)I think groups would be fun. Being able to send Bulletins would be nice.

I think you should get an ONLINE now thing so we know when our cat-pals are ONLINE!!! Also keltyfarmcats is right you should get bulletins and that would also be a fix to tazmania's problem if only cat-pals could see.

something similar to the ONLINE feature is located under 'cat tree'. Its the section 'recently online'. We 'll plan to improve this.

I would like a search feature where we can find certain cats easier, I would like to have a way of being able to earn points for things we do (post, comment, obtain buddies, etc.) and then use the points to "buy" "gifts" for each other, and I would like to be able to find the new cats easier, not just when you first sign in. It would also be nice to have a way of getting more tags.

I love this site and have been getting so into it and getting my friends to join up as well. My one complaint is that I wish the photos were bigger, so you can really capture the full gloriousness of these beautiful kitties! Sometimes after I upload my photo, it loses a lot in such a small format. Also, I think instead of rating each photo with treats, there should be photo contests. Sometimes I think "Who would give a cat less than 5 treats? They must be crazy!" haha - Also, seeing "no treats yet" everywhere bugs me a little. oh yeah, also I would like to be able collect favorites within the site so that I can go back to them later. I'm not sure how to work the bookmarks as they are now. Apologies if some of these features already exist and I just haven't figured them out yet.. Love the site!!

Well, Robert, I see you did follow through on the suggestion on "buying" gifts, earning points, etc.!! COOOOL!! Like I said, way we could earn points would be for things we do (post blog, post in forum, comment on another's blog, send buddy request, accept buddy request, etc. On UnitedCats I think commenting is 1 point, posting in forum is 5 points, and I forget what the others are. It would be a way to get people (cats) more involved in the forums and visitng with each other!! Oh, setting up profile earns points, and for each cat you set up outside your own profile it's an additional few points. I think you also get points for adding pictures but I don't remember that for sure. BTW, hope you're doing well. Life has been crazy here! LOL!! Beau sends headbutts!!

I think you could do away with the BFF feature because I think a lot of us don't want to single out some of our friends from the others. They are ALL our BFF's (like it says if you don't choose). It was a nice thought, but I think if we had to choose it could potentially hurt someone's feelings, and by taking away that feature there's not a problem with that. Instead, maybe putting questionairres or quizzes we could take to earn additional bonus points or something like that, and or allowing more photos to be posted in that space.

we agree with beau concerning the bff. bulletins would be great, too, as others have mentioned. and bigger pictures. we would also like to upload an animated gif for our human's picture but it gets flattened out. since us brothers and sisters share the same space, we would love the ability to reply to meows and ask questions individually.

the site is wonderful! i really like that the focus is on the cats and not the people. even if nothing changes i will be here for a long time. keep up the fine work! Now I can type easier. My 22 pound boy just jumped off my lap. I think what my kitties were saying is when a friend posts a nice comment on one of their photo albums they want to reply with their own name and picture without having to type that it's from Oreo, etc. And since the focus is on cats, they would like to put up an animated gif of the whole family in the owner photo spot. Just because I own the house and pay their bills doesn't make me the owner! Again, I (we) just love the site.

I am having a hard time getting youtube videos to post. Doesn't seem to work using the YouTube function or just pasting in the code in HTML format. I've tried on a couple of different browsers, thinking maybe it was a java error (Safari and this site don't mix too well for me and I have to switch to Camino or Firefox to get the HTML input to work.) I think it would be easiest if you could use html in the regular blog entry field, without the separate HTML and youtube buttons, but that's just me....

One thing I think would be great would be to have more cat profiles allowed per user. Cats aren't the same as dogs, some people have a lot! I've noticed quite a few people who've maxed out at 6. Or, some might like to include their deceased pets, but not have enough profiles available.

On the lower section of the home page, under who is playing on the site, there is a birthday listing. It is small so it is easy to miss. Hope you are enjoying the beach.
