BUG: We are noticing that some votes are recorded 3 times – this is being looked into right now.

We are releasing this before it is 100% complete– as we want the community to give us inputs and feedback. For example:

- do you like it?

- awards for those with certains number of wins?

- always have you dog voted against another dog (from the profile)? open to abuse/cheating?

- should users have to be a member to vote? (currently non members can vote too)

- currently only members active in the last 7 days are entered into the battle

Is it when you vote for your own cat that the vote counts as 3?  That sounds weird but I was just noticing that my only 2 cats who have any votes at all have 3 and it was me who voted for them once.

The 3 count should be fixed now.

I like it - very fun!

awards for those with certains number of wins is a good idea, though since you let non-members vote you are opening yourself for possible abuse/cheating.  As long as it's just for fun then even with cheating there is no real harm.  If you lose a lot of battles then you need to get a better profile picture, or I guess, figure out a way to cheat.

 Does this mean that my cat A will battle directly with my cat B?  A vs. B in terms of cuteness?  I would rather that not happen.

Is it always the same cat sets battling it out? 

Are only the main profile pictures for each cat entered, or all of them?

A few times two of my cats were up against each other.  How was I to choose.  It was so stressful

Krying, that's terrible!  Oh dear.  Well, what I would do in that case is reload the page.  I've done it a few times when I just couldn't bring myself to decide!

I did think there should maybe be a "tie" option.  But then again I don't think that's such a good idea either..

Jungle cats you are so smart.  I would never have thought of re-loading the page.  Looks and brains and mouse catching skills.  You kitties are triple threats!

how do the cats/kittens get picked for battle?

i couldn't figure it out for the Cat vs Dog and again for this battle?

is it random picking or do you have to submit your kitty?

The main photo for each cat are entered.

Members that are active in the last 5 days are automatically picked - randomly.

You can opt out of the battle - via settings (smiley icon at top right, when you login).

Oh no!  I just changed Mamacat's main profile photo and her 'Battle Ratings' went back to zero.  I don't think I like that!

Oh I see..  the tallies are still logged for each photo.  Neato!  Never mind!..
