Absolutely!  Your human baby might not remember their first birthday party, but do you celebrate anyway?  Sure!  My cats get a treat of wet food, sometimes even with a candle in it!  Granted, they won't blow it out, but they sure appreciate the gesture and know you're doing something nice for them!  It's fun for you too, and a great chance to bond with your pet!

Not exactly 'cuz I dunno my cat's birthday -- I took her in from the streets when she's about 6 month old. However, we did celebrate her kids' birthday on 11/16, the day she gave birth to 5 kittens (not as messy as I'd imagined it would be). We found the kittens adoption homes. Last year on 11/16 we invited all adoption parents to a coffee house to celebrate the kittens' birthday. The kittens hardly recognized their mom, sigh. Other than that it was lots of fun. Kittens were all happy and healthy and well-behaving. My cat was a bit shy, clung to me all the way. Oh well.

Absolutely! pets are members of the family too so why shouldn't we celebrate their birthdays? I dont know the exact birthdates for my cats Razzy and Buddy because their adoption papers are put away in the attic right now, so for the time being I celebrate the time of year in which I adopted them. Atleast until somebody will be in the attic again then I will ask them to pull out the adoption papers if they can find them and then I will see if their birthdates are listed on the papers and go from there. I do know Charcoal's birthday though because hers is a couple days after mine. I think it is interesting to know your cat's date of birth especially if you are a fan of astrology because sometimes the personality descriptions turn out to be very true and do match those of your cat ;)
