Taz is always looking for new things to destroy, er PLAY with...I've been able to keep ahead of him most of the time. He enjoys the ping pong balls in the shower, knotted up straws, balled up tin foil, cellophane, and ankles. Has anyone created something from scratch that drives their kitty nuts?? TELL ME! TELL ME!! (BTW: the kitty tent from IKEA was the best 10 bucks I've ever spent!)

Yes ~ our mom has a little craft she calls "Endangered Fleecies" blankets. When she makes them, she has 4"x4" square scraps. One day she had this idea......take one of the squares, put about 1/2 teaspoon of organic catnip pellets into the center. Gather the corners into a bundle shape and tie with hemp cord. Clip off the ends of the cord.
Store the bundles in the catnip container, with some of the loose pellets (to keep them potent). When we aren't playing with one, she puts it back in the container. Her mom's yorkies go crazy over them too. If you email her (purr real loud) she might send you one!
Taz, cellophane can be easily swallowed and cause blockage. If our mom sends you two bundles, will you promise not to play with it, again??! >".."<

We discovered quite by accident that a simple plastic basket (like a small laundry one or type you keep toiletries in, clean of course) with their favourite micey's and balls in is better then any of the store bought activity centers. The holes are just big enough for their tiny paws. They love trying to get the toys out and also jumping inside and trying to get eachother through the holes. Hours of fun.
